The discount store needs to be reorganized and cleaned up. Most items are randomly placed on the shelves and those shelves are in disarray. If you can't find something that you bought a week ago, keep searching, it might be in a different aisle or on an end cap. BUT, sometimes when you buy something, and you know you like that product, better buy more than one, cause most likely you won't find it there next time you go. EX: keto unsalted nuts, weren't available 1 week later. These nuts seem to have been replaced by a totally different brand, hanging where the Keto nuts were originally. Interesting store. Always finding something I didn't know that I needed, like a mini griddle for my stove. Great for making food for one person. The book aisle has been greatly expanded and you're bound to find an interesting title or two. Even have a religious book section. Need to keep an eye on the prices that are listed on the shelves that are on clearance. The register doesn't always ring up the clearance price. Ex: Graham crackers, priced $1.99, and sign on shelf read .49 cents. Register rang up as $1.99 each & so I had to have a manager give me cash back for the difference, which she did promptly 😊. All employees are friendly and helpful. ❤️ this chain of stores, but West Bend seems to be the most disorganized one. Didn't start out that way when they...
Read moreI would have given a 4 or maybe a 5 star to Ollie's because I found many deals at the store. Everything from children's books ($1.99-$5.99), bamboo pillows, name brand and off brand foods, pet supplies, toys, and household items. I checked out of Ollie's the day before their Opening Day celebration. I ended up leaving a tote full of children's books at check out as I bought so much, it was off to the side. I came home and didn't unpack my car until after dinner (3hrs later) and by the time I went through everything and realized I was missing a lot of books and the tote, it was 6:30pm. I called Ollie's and asked if my items were there and the manager said they were. I told her I would be in the next day at 11am to pick them up. I was told IF I DIDN'T PICK-UP MY ITEMS BY 9AM, THEY WERE GOING TO RESTOCK THE SHELVES WITH ALL MY PAID ITEMS FOR OPENING DAY. I told the manager I could not be there at 9am as I had an appointment and it would be stealing if they restocked my items knowing I paid for them, called to say I was coming to get them, and gave the manager a time. She did not agree and after much arguing, she finally agreed to hold them until 11am. I am afraid of what would have happened if I was late. This is why I give a 2 ☆. Make sure you have all your items...
Read moreThe first time "I" went there, I found out that they have county and state tax. The reason behind putting the "I" in quotation marks, is that my dad went and not me. He showed me his receipt and started to complain about them having state and county tax. On the other hand, the store is very clean and there are lots of bargains and they are cheaper than deal zone In Jackson. They are also open 24/7, deal zone is only open every second Saturday and Sunday of the month maybe Friday, if they have extra stock of holiday item, while Ollie's...
