Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Commerce Charter Township

First time at this location, to actually pick up two orders for DoorDash. I deliver for DoorDash. I first arrived and nobody was there and I wasn’t sure how to pick up my orders since it was past 9 PM, So I had it for the drive-through where I waited for five minutes and nobody answered. And then drove to the window and saw not a single person around and waited there for a couple more minutes. Completely frustrated, irritated, and unsure what to do I parked in the parking spots. I went to try to see if the door was open, which was locked. I knocked on the window and then finally someone appeared from around the corner. Right away, she told me they were closed. Umm…what? They were open till 11. I could see inside was a complete mess. It’s almost like a tornado went through. There were things on the floor, garbage all around. Just horrible. Seems like only one person was here and for late at night It’s kind of scary as a woman. Luckily, for me, there was another DoorDash driver around who could help me cancel the orders as I have never done that before. Let’s just hope I do not get any bad reviews because of all this. This is how I am trying to stay afloat and make extra money and this order was a complete waste of time because of Sonic and this location. 😡 I see plenty of other bad reviews too, what is going on here and does...

After placing an online order, I arrived at the “ready by time” listed on the app. I went to put in a stall number in the app but a worker told me it’s drive thru only, so I proceeded to the drive thru, they told me to pull forward. When I got to the window. I was very nice and asked the crew leader at the window (I couldn’t read her nametag as it was upside down but it was a woman) for a cup of water as I forgot to add it on the online order. I was told she cannot add anything on to my order at the window. So I politely asked, please it’s just a cup of water? and was rudely told no again. The woman than preceded to walk past the fountain drinks/ water and play on her phone until I got my food which took about 10 mins. Upon getting my food, I was missing my tater tots so I kept saying excuse me at the window for about 2 mins until another worker heard me and went back to grab the tater tots, this gentleman tried to save a terrible situation. Why couldn’t the woman couldn’t hear me? Because she walked away on her phone… again. Then after getting the tots, I couldn’t eat them because the tater tots were so greesy it looks like it spent hours in the bottom of old oil. Very disappointed with...

Went here absolutely starved out of my mind. Was so excited to get some sonic in my mouth and stomach! I pulled into one of the parking spaces where you order and they said "drive thru only." That's it. Rude.

I was the only car here, yet and it took more than 15 minutes, maybe more than 20, to get my $35 worth of food. I immediately reach I to the bag, mouth salivating, and ALL of the food was ICE cold. Still, being famished, I went for the my favorite, the pickle fries. The breading on them would falling away anytime I merely touched it. Discouraged, but not out of options, I ordered a strawberry limeade with nerds. That was what I was MOST excited for...It didn't didn’t have any nerds. Whatever, I said, settling for the sweet taste, refreshing and rejuvenating what water hadn't been able to all day. I drank the entire thing until not a drop came up the straw...Only to get home, open the lid, and see A BUG sitting on top of the ice. EUGH!!!!

I've been trying to call this Sonic to let them know about my complaint and their number isn't even in service!

There is no recourse and I can't stop thinking about all the places that bug went in its short, disgusting life span. And if it has any...
