What a great find this place was! Our server, Anna, promptly brought us fresh chips and salsa and took our drink order. I noticed right away that the salsa surprisingly did not have cilantro (yes, I love Mexican food, but, I'm one of those "cilantro tastes like soap" people). Anna told me the mild salsa has cilantro and the medium does not, so they can suit your preferences. I ordered the spinach quesadilla and my husband ordered the pollo supreme. Both were wonderful. You can really tell everything is freshly made. Great food, great service, great ambience, and oh, by the way, this place looks super clean.

We had a great dinner, especially with the great service by Emily our server! Very nice, patient and thorough! We dropped in and had a couple of beers, complimentary chips n salsa and we were offered the on the specials list, we tried the fried avocado as an appetizer, which is amazing! Comes with chipotle dip! We also had the chicken and cheese enchiladas, and the bowl of Mexicali Chowder. All enough for 2 and plenty to share! The food was really good, service amazing, highly recommended! Thanks Emily!

Really cute Mexican restaurant tucked away. It’s close to my house but I never knew it existed because it’s tucked away. The service was great and the food was very tasty. They gave us chips and salsa when we walked in and we got our food pretty quickly. It was decorated very nicely inside and had a cozy feel to it. They take reservations here just incase you needed to know. We called about a table for 6 and they had everything ready for us when we got there. We were seated right away.

My Wife and I decided to try this place. We had one close to our home in Southfield (never went). We arrived on Friday night so we felt that would have to wait. The hostess informed us it would be a 10 min wait. No where to sit in the lobby and No vibration devices. ??? No good! We were finally led to our table, passing multiple empties. ???? Another 5 min wait until our server acknowledged us and took our order. She arrives no intro just " what are having". We requested drinks and water, which should have been there when the chips n salsa arrived. The food did arrive n a timely manner and it was good food. The server asked if we wanted more chips and salsa, reached over my wife's plate (nooooooo!). My wife and I might try them on another day, that's our policy. However, it won't matter for others. They fumbled the ball on our first night. The 10 min wait and open tables is...

Stopped in for the first time in years...menu/food has changed. Got a burrito with rice and beans, standard fare. Unfortunately, the rice looked like it was days old (a few hard pieces in there), and the meat in the burro was completely un-spiced. It was literally just ground beef cooked and thrown in a tortilla, not a touch of spice. Not even salt or pepper. Other than the bad food, the draught beer tasted like they have never cleaned the lines. The third straw was I had asked them to turn the TV above the bar to CNN. The bartendress did so and I was at least watching what I wanted, that is until one of the waitresses wanted to watch wheel of fortune so she turned the channel and when I mentioned I was watching that, she stated but we always watch wheel...yup, and that is far more important than those pesky customers...gave 2 stars cause the bartendress was at least...

The place is nice. Their history is that they used to be a diner and closed for winter when Betty and Jack travelled to Mexico to escape the cold weather.

The service was okay. There seemed to be some difference among the wait staff. It looked like a manager was either dressing down a worker or providing instructions. That conversation was happening when we arrived and continuing when we left.

The food was priced rather high. The plates were hot but it seemed like the food was warmed over. Cheese was congealed. Spice was light.

Two of my dinner partners suffered indigestion later.

It seems it is all about speed.

There were two inebriated people at the bar. The bartender was asking them if they planned on paying the bar bill. One of the two said, "Oh, we always pay the bill.", as they asked for more...
