ALDI — Local services in West Branch Township

I shop at Aldi, Walmart, Save-a-lot, and Meijer on a weekly basis. It's a chore, but with today's prices, you gotta do what ya gotta do to survive.

Lately, I've noticed that Aldi, Walmart and Save-a-lot have similar prices. So similar, in fact, that it's a waste of time to run from store to store. So now it comes down to convenience and quality of products in reducing which stores I frequent weekly.

It's said that Aldi has customers pay for carts and bags to keep prices low. The prices are the same high prices everywhere else you go and they don't make us chase carts and drag bags along. Not to mention the responsibility of guarding the "Aldi quarter" in the cup holder of my car. Annoying!

And some of us just can't remember to grab those bags before we leave the house, so is it really less expensive?

Unfortunately, I have to cut Aldi out of the winners' list due to inconvenience. Who has time for this?

Dear Aldi: add some cart corrals and self-check outs (if you're worried about paying someone to retrieve carts) and I'll be back because I love a lot of the gluten-free and dairy-free options at great prices, but many Walmarts...

Me and my husband we are always shopping the Aldi store at West Branch In Michigan, and most of the time we enjoyed shopping there with the environment and products. But unfortunately because of the virus it has changed my impression about Aldi store, since Michigan has mandatory mask-up in all stores, there were many times I noticed that some customers with NO mask shopping inside of the store and seems no employees taking care of the issue, very disappointed about the poor execution in protecting most of the customers visiting your store, this is a public issue which should be taken very seriously especially since Aldi is going to open 70 more...

Aldi is generally my favorite place to shop for groceries I typically need. With the lowest possible milk prices, a very good produce section and good quality meats. But Aldi also carries a fine selection of groceries with a good choice on generic products. The generics are typically as good or better than name brands maybe your used to. It's hassle free shopping, no surprises and great prices. For best savings, bring your own bags or you can purchase bags at a nickel each for paper. And have a quarter ready for a shopping cart.
