Gadget Garage doesn’t deserve 5 stars. It deserves 10 stars! Before finding this place (which happens to only be a few blocks away) I took my broken iPhone 12 to several stores in Peoria and Chicago that either couldn’t fix it or wanted a ridiculous amount of money to fix it. When I took it to T-Mobile and the Apple Store, they both were just more interested in convincing me to upgrade my phone or vaguely telling me it was either too hard to fix or way too expensive. I was using an old iPhone 7 while looking to get the 12 fixed and ended up cracking the screen badly on the 7. Two broken phones! My client gave me her old iPhone 8 to use which was carrier locked and even after she called AT&T, we couldn’t figure out how to unlock it. Jay from Gadget Garage was able to take apart my iPhone 12 and fix it back to even better condition, replaced the screen on my iPhone 7, and got my iPhone 8 unlocked all for half the price or less than anyone else quoted. Very fast, friendly service and a really honest guy....

Dropped my Pixel one too many times and broke the OLED screen. Gadget garage was able to get me in right away and replace the screen and my phone is back to normal!

Jay was wonderful in regards to keeping me informed on what he thought the problems were and how he was troubleshooting. When I randomly mentioned I lost my laptop the day before I broke my phone, he kindly offered to let me borrow an old phone so that I would have some way of communicating with the outside world! It seems like a small thing but it made a world of a difference. Besides being professional and knowledgeable, Jay has a really calming presence about him so I left feeling significantly less anxious than when I arrived, confident that he had it...

I am so disappointed in myself for not leaving a review sooner. Jay, you are one of a kind and such an impressionable soul. His professionalism and craftsmanship is undeniable. From initial introductions to pick up, everything was warm, genuine, clear, and easy! I had already read the reviews before coming in and was pleasantly surprised by the congruent experience I can now share with the other phenomenal reviews. My iPhone 8plus looks brand new and I now have a location I’ll support for the foreseeable future. Can not recommend this place enough and this has hands down been the best repair services I have ever received in my decade of owning iPhones. You’re the best Jay!!! Keep smiling and dominating...
