The restaurant is abit outdated ,paint and decoration need to be updated and the staff looks and is old and tired. Not very friendly ,just managed to get afew words out of them, just what they needed when ordering and that is all. Food is good we ordered, what I think it's called, the Platillo condesa. Came with 2 big pieces of cecina,a nice serving of chicken breast and Mexican chorizo all covered with a spicy tomatillo salsa. It Came with a side of rice, beans and salad. Also,to top it off I got home made tortillas,I think 5 came with the meal. We also ordered a side rice beans and a quesadilla de rajas.we had 2 options of rajas, green peppers or jalapenos, we opted for the green peppers. And we also ordered 2 plain steak tacos. So to the point, the meal was very good ,had a very home cooked meal taste. Everything was good and We didnt have a complain about anything...regarding the food. I would for sure visit again and try another of their...

Just like other reviews stated, I stumbled across this place. Where do I start!? First, as soon as we walk in, while it’s beautifully decorated for Mother’s Day, we were met with racist looks from everyone inside. Every time we would look up, we caught someone else giving us the “stare” (Black ppl know what I’m taking about) from the guests to even the staff.

My boyfriend and I came in for a quick lunch. He ordered tacos, they charged him for it but never brought it out. I ordered the chicken flautas cause I was excited to try “authentic” Mexican food, but like a review said earlier… my chicken tasted like it was 3 weeks old and boiled. The quality was terrible like they gave us the bottom of the barrel on purpose.

Fast forward to later that evening, and Even into the next day; we both have food poisoning. Safe to say that we will not be returning...

went on a Monday with my family party of 13, the restaurant wasn't full we expected that being a Monday, but it was a disappointment visit as it was one of my dad's favorite and i remember him bringing us here when we were kids but anyway , the service was bad, both waiters seemed "lazy", the food took FOREVER! when it finally came out my dad's plate was burnt! and all the waiter had to say was "i can change if you want to" like who says that? food was missing and we had to wait even longer i heard no apologies from either one, prices were expensive for the taste of the food, over all, last time we go there next time we would wait the 2 hours for Olive Garden which that was the planned , if i'm going to pay a good amount of money it better...

In Chicago for a quick trip and needed a bite to eat. When you first come in it feels like your abuelitas house in the 60s. Very retro feel. We ordered steak taco dinners! The food was delicious! The steak was very flavorful and the tacos were full of meat. The only negative was the tortillas did fall apart. You can tell they are homemade and still taste good. Would get 5 stars for more stable taco shells. Server was nice the red salsa was some of the best we had at a restaurant. Good spice. Would come again.

Good value for money. Dinner came with warm tasty salsa. Rice was enjoyable. I have 3 issues with the burrito. First, the meat quality was poor. First bite was a giant piece of cartilage. Secondly, its a very wet burrito. Third, the shell was soggy. Overall the flavor was good but I'm probably not going to order that again. The staff were very nice and I might go back.

Incredible restaurant with the utmost at home feeling in both atmosphere and service. I ordered the blue collar breakfast with a piece meat and extra eggs. The coffee is typical with cinnamon black for me. The flan was not what I am familiar with so it was not as sweet for my taste. The price paid was well worth it. Parking was at front of restaurant with limited spaces.
