Ashland Market — Local services in West Chicago Township

I wish I could give zero stars. We have Illinois SNAP/Link, this morning our benefits were posted and before we made it to the store this afternoon, this store had taken every single cent we were allotted for this month. We have kids to feed and now lack the supplemental benefits we relied on. Calling the store to address it, they immediately knew I was calling about a Link card issue but denied having involvement and refused to help fix it. I have never been anywhere near this store and live 3 hours away. There is no way I used my card here and no reason they should have ILLEGALLY accessed it and charged without my permission. Ashland Market always come through in the clutch. I love being able to stop by and grab some beer or liquor on my way home. The location is incredibly convenient and after dozens of visits, I look forward to seeing the regular guys behind the register. This store is committing fraud and stealing. I live in New York and somehow my card which I HAVE with me was used at their store. I am going to be reporting this business. How are you letting people come in your store with just a number and no physical card to match the name and picture. Somehow someone in that store is running this scam.
