This all started with me gping into the At&t store on Michigan Avenue in Chicago to find out if my insurance would allow me to get a new phone. I could no sooner get in the door and the greeter said "its a 45 minute wait!" I then asked someone else and he was just as rude! Finally, I asked a third person and he told me to call Asurion. When I called, I got the best person in the Customer Service Universe. Her name was Celeste! She heard me talking to the At&t lousy personality and said, "why are they being so negative? Bad energy, I am going to help you!" There was so much laughter and joy on our call! Guess what? She was able to get me a new phone. I in fact had the insurance! The At&t people were trying to send me to a store that didn't even have the part to repair my old and steady phone! Celested informed me. The phone was shipped out and the next morning Fedex Express tried to deliver while I was at work. When I got home I called Fedex (refer to Google Review I wrote entitled ":Fedex Express is Lousy"). The supervisor told a canard which I found out when talking to Asurion for the 3rd time. They put policy over customer satisfaction. This is where Asurion got inconsistent. The first person said we can't change the shipping address because At&t has a strict policy. I asked to speak to a supervisor. She wasn't as passionate as Celeste and was turning a simple resolution to a mountain of a problem. The called dropped. I waited for her to call me back. Nothing, so I called back and pressed play and repeat. Asurion makes you wait too long amd that supervisor was of NO effect. The third time was a charm. As I pressed play and repeat and said its two simple solutions; this supervisor went past policy to achieve Customer Satisfaction. This all took three hours of my afternoon off. The inconsistency was causing unnecessary stress but Victory was attained. Hang in there with those behemoths! Try and discern every word they say. Look for their inconsistensices and how they both treat you and speak to you. The steadier and more knowledgeable you are about the solution for you the more they are going to get frustrated. Go for the WIN and strive for Customer Satisfaction over Policy. The Customers, the people are why they make money! We are the customers!!!!! There was an issue with the screen on his phone that we believed was somehow from the previous repair. The prior repair was done just six days before our return visit on /8/11/19. Initially we were told that the "new" repair needed could be done at a discount rate. I felt this unfair because the issue did not happen from any inadvertent mishaps on our end. After discussing this with Ron ( one of the store managers) , not only did he listen to our thoughts about this issue, but in the interest of customer service, customer satisfaction , and customer retention he granted the repair free of charge and added a few cosmetic details to ensure further protection for my son's phone. I thought what Ron did was professionally exceptional and showed great business practice of wanting his customers happy and wanting them to come back and refer others! The phone looks great and is working properly and we THANK YOU GREATLY for being honorable in helping ensure we were taken care of. The service here is spot on, has very convenient hours and the service is timely. Ron is personable and this is very important for customer retention. Ron THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR EMPATHY AND YOUR PROFESSIONAL DISGRESSION USED TO KEEP US AS ONE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS! I initially called and spoke with a rep by the name of Tim (I believe) who was polite and he was able to give me a quote over the phone for the issue I presented with my tablet.(Approx $20) Upon arrival, there was no wait, and the store was clean. I was immediately greeted by a store rep (Corey) who listened to the issue I had with my tablet. (It was stuck in loading screen) He immediately diagnosed the issue as a software glitch and did a QUICK factory reset, and explained to me what to do on my own should I encounter the issue at home. I was in and out in 15mins! I initially went to Geek Squad and they quoted me $200 but ended up telling me they were unable to help me because my device was encrypted. They refered me to this company who literally solved the issue with a simple press of a few buttons I could have done at home...I'm in disbelief that Geek Squad didn't know how to fix this simple issue and upcharged soo much! I am glad that they referred me here. I will now give this place business with any of my device issues from here on out and recommend others! I can tell they are genuine, knowledgable, and not money hungry and aren't trying to get over on customers! My only regret is that I didn't know about this place BEFORE I left my laptop with Geek squad for repair when I clearly should have brought it here!...
