Mattress Firm South Loop West — Hotel in West Chicago Township

We went to Mattress Firm because of their Labor Day sale. My husband and I were warmly greeted by Candice and Yvonne. Candice assisted us and was very knowledgeable about each of their products. What I loved was that there was no high pressure sales pitch but a genuine concern to find us the perfect mattress. And Candice did! Two days later I had to change my delivery date and spoke with Yvonne. Yvonne was pleasant on the phone and handled my request expeditiously. The store Manager, Nova contacted me after finding out that the online customer service was unable to handle my request to stop receiving some unnecessary updates. This wasn’t a major issue but she handled the matter as if it was and cared for it quickly and apologized for any inconvenience that this may of caused me. She was awesome! Last but not least is your delivery service. The delivery driver we had was, Alvaro. He contacted my husband when he was close by and delivered, set up and hauled away our old mattress. Alvaro was polite and professional. Their tracking system for deliveries is one of the best and their Gold service is well worth purchasing. I didn’t mean for this review to be so long but I was so impressed with the quality of service given by their employees that I had to make sure each were mentioned. I wish no star was an option. The salesman, Bobby was very pleasant until my mom decided to cancel her order. She explained to him that her son decided to give her his practically new mattress, so there was no need for her to purchase a brand new one. HE ABRUPTLY HUNG UP THE PHONE ON HER! After he was unbelievably rude, she decided she wanted to return the mattress cover and the pillow as well. As soon as we stepped in through the door with the merchandise a few days later, he stopped us with "Oh, I meant to tell you, you can't return that". No "hello, how can I help you?" It's amazing how he can turn the customer service off and on. Since she wanted to return the mattress, he was done helping her. Never experienced such an emotional, rude, and disgusting salesman in my life. His behavior and attitude was appalling. We just decided to leave and go to another store down on State and Roosevelt. The manager there was very pleasant, and explained the return policy that my mom should've been made aware of before purchasing these items. You'll find out what the policies are AFTER you make the purchase, as it is on the receipt. Buyer beware! I'm shocked that a company of this magnitude would have such shady character representing...

My birthday gift to my daughter this year is a new mattress, box spring and frame. Snow that’s not such. big deal, but I’m in Arkansas and she’s in Chicago. I have been a repeated customer of Mattress Firm, but this was going to be challenging getting a bed over the phone, so I thought. I looked on line to fine a store nearest her and placed the call. What a blessing to have VICTOR WILKINS answer the phone. I explained my needs, wants and within a matter of a couple minutes, he found the perfect set up for her and a price package that was perfect for me. What I assumed would have my chewing on my knuckles was absolutely pain free. He was able to arrange delivery time to work around her schedule. Victor was a true breath of fresh air, so professional but helped me laugh through my stress. In a world where people don’t get compliments anymore, I want everyone to know about VICTOR WILKINS at the Mattress Firm at 500 W Roosevelt Rd in Chicago.
