Best crepe stand in the city at this market, come early otherwise the market gets too crowded and you're not getting anywhere near the crepe stand. Bacon Egg and Cheddar crepe? GTFOH dude, maybe the best breakfast in the city on a Sunday morning.
Awesome assortment of other vendors selling all kinds of vegetation, prepackaged products and "turn an old shirt into a reusable handbag" station once a month. Nichols is a great farmstand. Not to mention, Sir Hamlet Swine (Wicker Park's Celebrity Pig) makes a cameo appearance once in while.
This year there was also Kombucha, cut fresh flowers, organic meats & eggs.

Read moreDelightful farmers market. Sized just right to allow some comparison shopping without being overwhelmed by choices. Park has nice playground for kids, circular seating around a foundation and a grass field where some folks pitch a blanket or tent and relax after shopping. Very well organized and attended event. Checkout lines can get a bit long at times for some vendors, but it looks like this is price of bringing and keeping a set of good vendors. Prices are farmers market standard—i.e., significantly higher than Aldi—but there a good deals to be found if you look and ask. I am a repeat shopper and I’ll be back through market closure...
Read moreI’m visiting from Miami and was delighted to visit the Farmer’s Market today. It was filled with young adults and young families enjoying a beautiful Sunday morning. There is a great variety of products for sale. Some stands have samples and are gracious enough you might want to stay while they explain what their product is all about. You’ll find fresh produce, eggs, cheese, flowers, pastries, an ample variety of crepes and raclettes, Mexican food, juices, live music and a story telling area for kids and so much more. And it is pet friendly too :) Absolutely love our time...
