DONT EVER RENT HERE!!!! HOW IS IT LEGAL TO TRAP SOMEONE IN AN ESTABLISHMENT AGAINST THEIR WILL??? My friend bought a storage unit here at auction. I came with her and her kids in my truck to pick up the items inside. The gate was WIDE OPEN when we got there. We went to leave and the gate was closed. Nightmare scenario: The code given to us didn't work (tried multiple times to input) and we were ILLEGALLY DETAINED against our will. The office was closed with no obvious emergency number. We called the "number on the security box" only to get transfered to after hours automation mesages. It was NO HELP. We tried asking someone who "lives there" (might not be an employee, but definately had the code to get out) she REFUSED to help us. We had been there (with the children) nearly an hour, and in desperation called the police. Luckily, another customer needed to come in while we were on the phone with the dispatcher. Since we were blocking the gate she put in her code and let us out. WHAT IF WE HAD A MEDICAL EMERGENCY??? This company is extremely lucky that nothing like that happened. They were one nice customer away from having to deal with a police report. Every other storage facility in the area has the gate shut all day and lets you out automatically. THIS IS DISGUSTING I would never, ever rent at a place that does not care about the safety and well being of others. I would give negative stars for scaring us AND THE KIDS so badly. Do yourself a favor and RENT...

We rented a unit and were told that we HAD to rent by the same day we called, which was Saturday, or we'd lose the discount. So we ran down there to rent it. It has a gate which is active and closed during the facilities non office hours. There was some question as to whether the key code we were given would work or not. The person compiling the application wasn't sure which computer to use, if the computer would work, or even if the printer would work. We paid for the unit and were told by the manager he wouldn't answer his phone on the weekend. This comment proved very prophetic. On Friday we returned with a friend, who drove her truck 40 miles to help us get our items to storage. We tried our key code and it didn't work. Luckily the man who lives on the facility let us in. We called the local police and they told us they don't even have a code in their files to let us in. So if there's ever a fire there, and the man who lives at the property isn't there, all your items will burn to the ground. We attempted to call the manager and he never returned our 7 phone calls that night, nor did he the next day either. We returned the next day to complain, and he told us, "Oh well, that happens. You're not the first it's happened to THIS WEEK. Not sure when it will be fixed. What else can I do for...
Read moreUpdate** lowered my review to 2 stars because my rent was going to raise another $10 but they were able to keep it the same but that only lasted for 2 months.. (now it’ll be $20 more than when I started a year ago). Also they still haven’t fixed the entrance from the street (please at least do this and it will justify the cost increase). It’s so bad you’ll scrape the bottom of your car if you don’t go in / exist on an angle.
My rent just went up $10 and I have only been there for 2 months. That worries me and I feel I’ll have more rent raises in the near future that means. Also they need to fix the entrance from the street. I have scraped the bottom of my van several times. Besides those 2 things, it is a good storage unit, I just can’t believe they raised my...
