I’ve been to the Ephrata location and was always happy with the food, however this visit to the Brownstown location was such a let down. Got a pumpkin latte that was not good, perhaps a syrup issue, and it was also the wrong size from what I had told the cashier. I ordered the rise & shine breakfast bowl, the hash browns underneath the eggs were cold. We also had the little bite sandwich and the beef was tough & chewy, you couldn’t bite it off. To top it all off, while we are sitting in the cafe, the staff was loudly complaining about their lack of tips.

We stopped at the newly opened Scratch Bakes Cafe as we saw an open sign. The kids asked for a sip of coffee on our journey home. I never got a sip as they scarfed the iced French vanilla latte down quickly. They reported the muffins and cupcakes to be moist and flavorful. Hopefully I have a chance to see for myself soon. Cute Cafe in Brownstown with very friendly staff. We will return to try breakfast and lunch options at another date. 4250 Oregon Pike, Brownstown, PA

Super cute, such a great addition to Brownstown! We had lunch there and had amazing service and the food was very good. Prices were very reasonable as well, I love the lunch combo special price. I’m excited to try the drive thru.

I ordered lunch from Scratch Bakes for my company’s (Denver Cold Storage) manager's meeting, and it was excellent! I would highly recommend them. Our order was for about 15 people, and they kept everything very organized by labeling and neatly packaging all the items. I know sometimes ordering bigger orders can lead to missing or incorrect items, but everything was perfect. The staff was also incredibly helpful and friendly. Everyone enjoyed the food. We will definitely be ordering...

Place is super busy during lunch and massively understaffed. And for a place called scratch BAKES, they have a miniscule amount of baked goods. The cupcakes are incredibly mediocre just like at their other location, which is perfect for the locals, who have zero taste. I didn't order made to order food because I didn't feel like waiting amongst the plethora of old people who, unlike me, had loads of time to kill. The parking lot entrance has no signage and the interior is...
