This is really two issues. One Miele appliances and then Martin’s appliance as a sales and service. The problem with Martin appliance. I bought every appliance for our new home construction from them. More than $35,000 worth. All high end Miele, SubZero, Dacor. Miele Washer Miele Dryer Miele Oven Miele Steam oven Miele Coofee machine Miele warming Draw Miele Speed oven Miele Dish washer Subzero Refrigerator and freezer Decor gas range Decor Hood Total water system for the house. Very expensive. 2- (Two) Miele Waher pedestal stands
I’ve had Martin come out countless times to repair just about every appliance. There is no incentive to buy from them, or to be a loyal customer. They have no customer loyalty programs. If I call for service, I have to wait weeks before someone can squeeze me in the schedule. I had no discount for service, not even a 5% reward or incentive. Once, I need a nut to screw on the inside of the Miele speed oven. Martins called Miele to order the nut . Miele mailed it to me. I put it on. Miele charged me $25.00 and Martin charged me an additional $25.00! You would think because I bought all those appliances from them just a short time before they would say just pay for the part in the mailing. But they took their 50% cut.
I never get any kind of customer loyalty recognition. Even when we bought all of those items at once, there was no volume discount. I asked them since I was buying more than 13 different items. Was there any difference in price between buy one appliance vs a dozen? Their answer was no. You definitely feel like it’s all about them getting as much money as possible. Service has always been a two or three time job. Not once did they come out and fix something on the first call. I would not use Martin again.
I regret buying the high-end Miele brand. In the 14 years I have lived in our new house and bought all brand new Miele appliances, we have had Martin appliance out to repair those appliances more times than I could list. Their parts are far more expensive than a GE or a more conventional brand. There’s only one or two people within 100 miles who’s allowed to work on them. If you buy Miele you cannot get another service person out to work on it. You cannot get parts. It is controlled through one or two approved service companies, you are stuck paying high prices and waiting long periods of time. Stick with a GE or some other product where numerous service people...
Read moreHi.. Nevin H arrived withen the time window.he gave Eileen. He was very clean cut and very polite. He was here to remove a broken old dishwasher and to install a NEW DISHWASHER PURCHACED AT MARTIN. APPLIANCE. He checked over what had to be done .and got right to work. He brought in his tools and install equipment from his truck and quickly un hooked th old dishwasher from the plumbing and the electric. Than he slid out the old dishwasher out from under the counter top and took it out to his truck on a dolly. He returned from his truck with the new dishwasher on the dolly. He slid the new unit under the counter top...and hooked up the plumbing and electric to it...and turned it on and checked for leaks and any unusual sounds or noises. Everything seemed O.k. .He took his INSTALL equipment out to his truck and came back inside..and explained the operation and function s of the new dishwasher to Eileen. What a great appliance replacement experience !!! We would HIGHLY RECOMEND NEVIN H. TO EVERYONE...AND MARTIN APPLIANCE AS WELL. !!! THIS WAS A TOTAL PLEASURE AND A VERY PROFESSIONAL INSTLATION AS WELL !! THANK YOU AGAIN.. ALL VERY MUCH !!! Read moreI will definitely be using Martins again. I would highly recommend them, particularly the brownstown store is where I went. My salesman JR was personable and took the time to look into all options to make sure that I would get the exact fridge and washer to satisfy not just my needs but also what I wanted and preferred. He was patient with me and made me feel comfortable and taken care of during the whole process. Then, when I had my fridge and washer delivered, Brandon and Mitchell’s service was top notch. They were both very personable and professional. It became apparent to me during their time in my home that Brandon was training Mitchell. I was very encouraged to observe Brandon’s patient “teaching” with Mitchell. They were not in a hurry to get my appliances installed, rather they did it, efficiently and professionally. They made sure to explain things to me about my new appliances and they did not leave until they made sure that all my questions were answered and I was taken care of.
