If I could give zero stars, I would. The app, when we pulled into a parking space, was glitching out. I pulled through the drive-thru instead. Sat at the microphone for 5 minutes with zero response. Not a hi, welcome, be with you in a min. Nothing, just silence. I said, "Are we even at the right place?" To myself aloud, and finally, a voice said, "give me a minute."waited another 5 minutes. (With only 2 cars in front of us that had already ordered). We gave a name and said we ordered on the app. He asked for the name, we gave it to him again, he asked again, we gave it again. He then says, "just pull around." Waited another 5 minutes, get up to the window, and he asks for the name again, there's literally no one behind us this entire time. My gf ordered cheese fries that were the worst I've ever seen or tasted in my entire life, from anywhere. Literally microwaved fries with 2 square slices of American cheese barely melted on top. Inedible. My strawberry shortcake shake was amazing. Never coming back here for any type of "food" though. Should've asked for a refund with the fries it was truly that bad. Appeared on the screen at stall one that they are preparing my order and then said it was being delivered. 20 minutes later I flagged down a car hop and asked about my order. She said they were backed up and I said ok. I watched 6 other people arrive, order, and get their orders. 20 mins after that I pushed the red button. It said activated for 10 mins while 7 more customers were served. I left the spot and went to the drive through, explained my issue and they stated they didn't see it in system. I relayed I have the receipt that I already paid. After several attempts of trying to explain to the young lady on the mic that I just wanted to come up and show them my receipt, Cindy the manager came on the mic and I explained everything again. She told me to just give her the order again because she couldn't find it. I did and went to the window where she stated she was sorry but next time I shouldn't order on the app because it is hard for them to take care of mobile orders and drive up orders. Read moreI used to love sonic. They have great food and it's nice to be able to sit outside in the nice weather. However, the last several times I have been there I have had the very unfortunate luck of dealing with one particular man in the drive thru. He is always extremely rude on the speaker and when you get to the window it's even worse! Never a warm greeting (or any greeting at all for that matter). He just pokes his arm out the window and mumbles the total. Always makes a face and has a rude remark when you ask for a cup carrier or any sauces such as ketchup or ranch. He acts like a packet of ketchup comes out of his paycheck. Finally one day I asked if he liked ketchup on his fries to which he answered very rudely said that no- he does not. I informed him the rest of the world does but that did not change his attitude during future visits. There are times when I stop on there I actually leave because I dont have the patience to deal with him. Please sonic, remove this guy from all customer service jobs...
