Joey'z Shopping Spree — Local services in West Hartford

I love this store and shop here often because they have nice decorative items for your home. However, today I was there to get curtains and a rug. The guy working there was really nice. He offered to give me one of the curtain on display because they were running low on that design. I said ok.

At 5:45 they announced that the store was closing in 15 minutes. Next thing i know, they turned the lights off while I was in the curtain section. They then started shouting that they had to go home. I left and went to cash out my items. While they were cashing out a lady in front of me I asked them to please get the guy to give me the curtain on display.

They were upset and said of I want something on display now and I should come back tomorrow. This was rude. I felt like they did not value me or my money. Also, it was 5:50. They still had 10 minutes. I don't live in the area and you want me to come back tomorrow?

Manager, please train your staff to treat...

They charged my credit card twice for a single purchase and gave me a hard time to reimburse me. I had to go through my bank for a mistake they have done. The lady stated she didn't charge my card, yet I had already inputed my pin number. Her excuse was the 2nd machine wasn't on and needed to be reset. I swipe my card a second time and once again put my pin and there was a 2nd transaction. I later called the store and spoke with the manager Gilo, and he said I would need to wait until the transaction is cleared. It did hours later. Now I must deal with resolving this...

l bought a incrediable pair of all rubber earth shoes here....simular looking to bercanstocks not only were they comfortable on my uncomfortable injured feet but they lasted 10 years!! lm now just donating them.l also love their cute/odd blankets l just wish we had a joeyz close where l live.We will go back once we have more travel...
