Jordan has been cutting my hair for almost three years now. He does a fantastic job. The times I have gone to other barbers when I decided to wait last minute to try and make an appointment I've regretted it--now I always make appointments ahead of time so that I don't regret my cuts from other people. Jordan is incredibly charismatic and always makes the time I sit in his chair a memorable time. He says hello to anyone that walks in and he always knows who is who when they walk in the door. He's definitely on top of his game. This cute shop right off of Santa Monica Blvd is convenient to anyone living nearby as it's a three minute walk for me. The interior of the shop is gorgeous and very well thought out. When it comes to the haircut Jordan puts a lot of thought and care into it. He has a vision for my head of hair and I love that because I can't envision how I want my hair to look so I leave it up to the professional, the one and only Jordan. Every single time I leave the Barber Den I feel even more confident than I already am and tell myself, in the words of Doja Cat, Let me check my chest, my breath right quick He ain't never seen it in a dress like this He ain't never even been impressed like this Prolly why I got him quiet on the set like zip

Read moreIt was very nice appearing as I walked in and the man who greeted me was quite kind and seems like he would give a great haircut. But alas this was not the man I got. The man who cut my hair acted like he didn’t even want to be there, practically tried to bash my head in with his razor. Now as myself I am no haircut aficionado so whenever I go to get a haircut it’s been months so I don’t keep a book of haircut buzzwords and vocab terms so I will say the normal a bit longer on top and shorter on the sides and allow them to do what they think would look good. Usually when I get a haircut the person cutting my hair knows that I don’t know everything im talking about and will work slowly with me instead this man just cuts my hair from long to looking like I could work the third reich (which I do not want to go for). I would recommend checking which barber you are going to get and I wish I had this mans name to warn you of his careless hair cutting. I cannot understand how you employee someone of the classless nature and lack of emotion. Be careful when going here also the haircuts are quite pricey to look like a...
Read moreUpdate: Just wanted to give a quick update. Jordan reached out, apologized for what happened, and offered a full refund. While it won’t bring my hair back, I do want to acknowledge and appreciate the way he handled the situation and went the extra mile (not many businesses do that). I’m bumping up a few stars on my review for the professionalism, integrity, and care shown by this barbershop. Thank you again.
This is hands down the WORST barbershop experience I’ve had. I scheduled an appointment with Tony for the first time since I’m new to the neighborhood. I asked for a mid taper fade, and he told me he’d never heard of that before—even after I showed him a picture. That made me nervous, but he said he’d figure it out. I also asked him to trim the top by just a quarter of an inch, but instead, he cut off almost all of my curly hair. The only thing he got right was my facial hair. I’m extremely disappointed—it took me nearly a year to grow out my hair, and now I have to start all over. I won’t be...
