This place is simply amazing. I host a night-before-Thanksgiving dinner for family and friends and I catered from here. It was incredible. First, ordering was awesome and simple.
Second, the food was delicious. Ready to hear what we ate so your mouths can water?
Whole roasted turkey with buckwheat. It is usually roasted with plums and apples but I asked for onion and garlic. They did it for me and it was delicious.
Salat olivier (if you do not know what this is, just go and buy it);
3.. Venegrette (beet type salad)
Greek salad
Sote (which is roasted vegetables in a semi-spicy tomato sauce - amazing for vegetarians and meat eaters alike);
Eggplant salad;
Pickled tomatoes, cabbage, pickles. Listen, when you celebrate with some liquor, you will want some of this deliciousness.
Roasted potatoes with dill and garlic,
Chicken roullette;
Fried Branzino with a garlic sauce;
Mushroom crepes with cream sauce; and
Black bread; and
Napoleon for dessert. I asked for my Napoleon on the wet side and they made it that way. Incredible.
This morning, I am dreaming of the mushroom crepes and cream sauce and potatoes and garlic sauce (from the fish).
It was an incredible meal.

Read moreAbout their grocery store. No price stickers at all, I got a few jars of pickled veggies, some pirozhkiy, bread and cottage cheese, paid $100 ish, which is extremely high for what I got, they definitely overcharge at checkout and there’s no way for you to find out their prices unless you ask beforehand. I felt awkward asking every single item’s price so I didn’t and ended up buying overpriced expired food. And ended up throwing away all of the pickled stuff because they were spoiled. After I opened up the plastic container of homemade pickled cucumbers, I could see they used cucumbers that were going bad and seemed like they didn’t even bother to wash or rinse them, they were slimy, spotted and dirty. Pickled mushrooms were bad too, had to throw them away, the same with tomatoes, might have been expired and/or low quality. Pickled cabbage was discarded as well. I do not recommend this place. It’s better to go to another place or across the street, there’s another grocery store with Russian produce, way better quality of produce, service, good variety, clean, friendly shop and everything is priced, so...
Read moreI was so lucky to have this restaurant cater my wedding. Everything from the food, to the staff, to the planning was excellent. Every meeting we had with the owner, Arkady, made me feel like I was being taken care of and was very assuring. They came to our separate venue and handled everything - the cooking, the management of all staff (including the venue staff), and ensured that the timing of everything was up to the standards of our wedding planner. I couldn’t be happier with choosing them to cater our wedding. The biggest anxiety I had about food was whether the American side (my husbands) was going to understand the food /cuisine. However, during the wedding everyone RAVED about the food and majority of all courses were eaten up. I myself got to enjoy the leftovers the day after the wedding and can honestly say it’s some of the best Russian food I’ve had. Thank you so much to this incredible family for helping make our wedding so special and personal for...
