The customer service was absolutely terrible. From the moment I arrived around 1 PM, the receptionist made me feel unwelcome, asking what I was doing there since check-in was only at 4 PM. She was also constantly eating at the reception whenever I passed by, showing no professionalism and no interest in assisting guests. The staff were incredibly unfriendly—they never greeted me, never responded when I said hello or wished them good morning or night, and wouldn’t even look at me. The only time I saw a staff member smile was at check-out. 🫠 The first room I was given was terrible, facing the street and extremely noisy. I requested an upgrade to a second-floor room (room 200), which was slightly better, but I could hear toilets flushing loudly throughout the day. Later, I had to move again to room 104, which looked better at first, but the bathtub leaked water due to a damaged wall around it, the toilet paper holder was broken, and the walls were poorly maintained (see pictures below). When I complained to the receptionist about the bathtub issue, she didn’t seem to care at all—she just said “okay” and did nothing to resolve it. The rooftop always had the sofas turned around to prevent guests from using them, making it feel completely unwelcoming. On top of that, they transferred calls to my room without permission waking me up at 2 AM, no less. One day, I had to wait two hours to move to a different room. No one informed me when it was ready, and since the phone in my room was broken, I went to the reception to check, only to be told they had forgotten to inform me that I could just stay in the same room. Overall, the rooms were poorly maintained, with broken amenities, and the customer service was unprofessional and unhelpful. Definitely not worth the stay.

Absolute nightmare. We called before arrival and confirmed the room would have 2 QUEEN beds and a CRIB. When we checked in, the room was 2 double beds and a playpen with a blanket as a mattress. My baby is not going to sleep on a blanket which is a suffocation hazard!!!! We immediately asked for a refund and were denied. I had to make a fuss to finally get through to the manager Bibian, who the front desk guy was texting with. Really, text? Bibian offered to refund 1 night of our 2, which I declined because that’s not good enough. Finally, we were offered a full refund minus $50 for “using the room”, even though we were in the room for 40 minutes. What. Two things: 1. Learn the difference between a crib and a playpen. A simple google search. Don’t advertise a crib to guests when you don’t actually have one. 2. Aquire a tape measure to measure the size of your beds if you think a double bed is the size of a queen. It’s not. Incident date was March 7 at 7pm. I have emailed Bibian directly and waiting for a response to ensure we get our refund.

Stayed for a week and so disappointed. Really nice hotel but not run well at all. Few problems with room. Poor excuses and not resolved all week. Waited 4 night's for a coffee machine that worked. Room service & cleaning non existent all week. Outside terrace not cleaned once in a week. Total mess. A party of lads spent all week getting stoned and trashing the terrace. Even riding round the car park on the roof & bonnet of their car. Total joke. Nothing said or done. Most staff couldn't be bothered. Worst and most expensive hotel of my month long trip. Sorry to the 2 lads working on desk who tried, ( cheers for the coffee machine ).

Since the management of the hotel do not take responsibility for their mistakes and caused to me HARM, lost time and money. I would like to make a warning about very BAD SERVICES in this hotel. Im staying in this hotel 7 days . I'm arrived and because i want take out from the car luggage i park in hotel parking. I planned stay in hotel parking for 10 -15 min but because i felling bad i fall a slip. I didn't submit my car for park in that parking spot of the hotel but anyway i gave to the manager my Credit card for security deposit so hotel can use it in matter of needs. Or if it's any issues manager can ask me if this is my car, they have cameras and phone and may knock my door. I didn't re -park my car in another place and was ready to pay $ 35 . I didn't think it was such a problem to pay for a parking later. Usually for night i park car outside of the hotel parking . Since I do not see the point of paying for parking it is unguarded, there is no fence, no barrier, no roof - this parking Doesn't have differents from the parking on the Regular street . I'm happy to pay for parking which prepared for that. It Need look like a real hotel parking , safe ,with a fence and a roof, electrical gate , not just a piece of asphalt. The night street parking is free with the same conditions just next to the hotel. I had meeting at 5 pm next day, first time Left the hotel room at 4.30 pm, i didn't find my car Which by the way have all my luggage inside. But one of hotel lobby gay by name Aldrin call to TAW AWAY my car at night !!!! He just don't care about hotel guest and probably he work with the same guy who tow-away cars , in the same day they TAW 4 cars. Probably it's not the first time and they do it regularly this why they didn't put gate . Did it every day for sharing money. This how he make money 4 cars TOW AWAY 1600 $ for one day! My day was destroyed ,i need cancel important meeting pay taxi 40$ for get to location where was my car . I paid for tow away 402$!!! A complain about situation on email of the main manager I never get to respond! No apologize!! But unfortunately it's not only one mistake of the staff of this hotel. Other employee cant check me in on time. He asked me for extra payment in 3 PM !! Since the room may be only available at 4pm. No one ever asked me for money to check in at 4:00 pm ! And this is the latest check in that ever seeing my life.

Other manager, when I first time would like like to see the hotel , lobby, elevator before i book it. Since sometime a picture did not match when you arrived. Employee did not let me go to see the hotel, lobby, Elevator He BLOCKED ME PHYSICALLY and was rude.

Same Aldrian put me in the BAD ROOM where windows looks to the parking . I need to stay all week in closed curtains room? Because if I open the curtains everybody can see me in my room and also all noise from the parking just go straight to the room . fact that employee did not act professionally , hotel do not Resolve situation , never propose me compensation for my lost which was created by the fault of theirs employer. Also all night you can HEAR THE LOUD MUSIC from other room , where parting people, it is weak sound isolation. It look like people come there just to have fun, not for business , it is visible by the SCRATCHED FURNITURE . So if you want a quiet safe stop in Los Angeles, avoid this hotel, surrounded by homeless people, unguarded parking lot, impolite, ...

This is my second time staying at this hotel this year and all things considered, I've come to the conclusion that this hotel represents your best bang for your buck in the area (WeHo/Hollywood mid-range). ||I don't know what it is but I have a thing for old school motels so the fact that this is a completely revived motel from way back (in the 1930s?), you really get to enjoy the best of both worlds! No long lines for elevators, this boutique hotel is quaint and super accessible. I was in room #109 the last time and although that room was significantly smaller, I personally prefer the first floor. Situated on the second floor overlooking the neighbouring homes, #208 is large rectangular room with a very unique (but practical) configuration. Similar to my last review, although I love the style of the 2013 renovation, the hotel is looking quite tired and in need of some updates. Specifically, hallway carpets, paint/lighting, etc. A garbage can outside in the parking is necessary and would be very much appreciated. ||I booked my 4 night reservation on hotels.com where my confirmation email states that I'm to receive a free bottle of wine. Not only did I not receive any wine, the second floor bar has been closed all 3 times I went to check it out Friday evening/Saturday afternoon and evening. As I don't drink, this obviously made no difference to me however I am not sure where the disconnect stands with that one. Contrary to information provided by the hotel on this website, BREAKFAST IS NOT PROVIDED, nor is it even available for purchase. Although each room has a mini fridge, the property does not have an ice machine available for guests nor is there guest laundry on site. ||In comparison to similar hotels in the area, this hotel represents the best value. My only concern which ultimately almost ended up being a dealbreaker for me is the parking fee. $35 USD per night is way too steep and is undeniably price gouging at its finest. ||As a young(ish) man in his early 30s, I felt both safe and content in this particular pocket of Hollywood. This is an awesome destination spot for both singles and couples however this probably isn't an ideal spot for families, mostly due to the excessive traffic noise coming from Sunset. Ralphs, Chipotle, Starbucks and other amenities are well within walking distance. ||One last thing that I loved is their guest/reception communication system. Guests can text the front desk anytime in which the attendants are very...

This is NOT a 4 star hotel! It's a decent 3 star, at best. I booked it with the expectation of a 4 star hotel experience and was incredibly disappointed.

Price - we were charged for parking and there was a price for breakfast (which we didn't go to). So even with the low price similar to the 3 star hotels in the area, this one pads onto it.

Stains - there were stains on the carpet on the way to our room and stains on the ceiling and walls of our room.

Shower - we couldn't get the shower handle to turn. We called the front desk and she just said she'd never turned on the showers so she wasn't sure how to help us. Eventually, my husband strong armed it on. The rain showerhead is nice enough but low pressure. The handheld showerhead is so high pressure it hurt to use. And then we couldn't turn it off enough to stop the constant dripping. I'm guessing the crew will come in here and turn it off with a wrench or something to stop the dripping and leave it nearly impossible for the next person to turn on. Oh, and the bizarre residue by the drain was...gross.

Jetted tub - this was ok. Caulking was falling apart. The faucet would flow in high pressure to fill it up for about a minute before dropping to low pressure and then going back again so it took a long time to fill. The drain also didn't stop it up completely so it was constantly slowly draining and we had to refill it. The jets were also all different levels of pressure with only 1 really being at the level we are used to. Despite all that, this was probably the only true amenity here.

Noise - we can appreciate the modern style but there's a reason most hotels have carpet. We could hear so much noise from other rooms and we are sure they could hear us too. Every toilet flush, walking around, and talking even. There was also this strange high pitch squeal that would last a while before raising higher in pitch and then stop. It happened frequently through the night.

In general, there aren't many amenities here. The rooftop bar and inside bar are both small and just ok. There's no fitness room or pool or jacuzzi. There was a tiny little area with some coffee and tea near the kitchen.

All in all, I'm extremely disappointed with this place as it claims to be a 4 star hotel. As far as I can tell, it was a face lift remodel on an econo lodge that doesn't deliver a 4 star hotel experience while charging those...
