I’m going to be totally honest… I’m really disappointed in my results. I purchased a four pack of V Beam Laser treatments to address distended capillaries and redness. They were running a discounted package on groupon so I called and asked to pay them directly - they said yes so I did. When I went for my appointment, the physician was not present. I had my initial ā€œconsultā€ over the phone in a treatment room. She asked me some basic medical questions and waved me through for laser. The laser tech was sweet. But after my first treatment, I was insanely swollen for 2 weeks. I furiously Googled to see if this was normal. Various sources said it was normal so I tried not to worry. I proceeded with all 4 treatments. Every time I came in, I asked questions about my healing and why I was getting hyperpigmentation. The nurse told me I had melasma and if I wanted to buy hydroquinone from them for $100, I could. I ended up ordering some online and used it in between treatments. At my last treatment, I was requested someone to take a look at my skin and help me understand why I was having so much pigmentation. They said there was no one else but the nurse. She again said it was melasma and that the heat from the laser can also trigger it. I honestly felt a little gaslit. Since then, I talked to various people including a laser tech, a physician, and a client of mine who communicated my experience to her physician: My client's physician replied to her concerns with ā€œwe don’t bruise people hereā€ to reassure my client who was considering V Beam for rosacea. Another physician I spoke to noted that brusing is not necessary to produce results and that the settings for my treatment should have been different. Lastly, the laser technician suggested that my nurse used settings that were way too high and was shocked when she saw how swollen and bruised after my appointments. While I did notice a minor improvement in SOME of my capillaries, it sucks that I now have to clear this pigmentation. I’m not sure if I would ever trust this clinic again.

So before I get started - I have been going to CRMC for 3+ years, the practitioners are great, however this 1 experience with management was so mind bogglingly bad I have to share my experience & warn others. Mid August I received the same amount of botox I usually get, which previously had last for 3-4 months. However 2 weeks after the procedure this time I noticed the wrinkles were still there. Figured it needed some time to settle still and didn’t think much of it. At week 5 - the forehead wrinkles were still there! I called to speak to management, they never called me back. I was set up with a follow up appointment, was told management wold meet with me in 10 minutes, 30 minutes later they still hadn’t met with me. When the manager finally did speak with me the attitude was basically too bad so sad it didn’t work this time, you have to pay another $500 (so this would be $950) for the procedure to have the original procedure work. I told her that basically hey - I paid what I usually pay & I expect to get the results I usually get, maybe the botox lasts *slighly* less, but 3-4 months to 5 weeks (actually less because it didn’t really take) is ridiculous. She insisted that it wasn’t their fault, I basically said hey look, I’m going to bring this up on yelp because it’s extremely unfair that you don’t think it’s on you to provide the result that had been provided in the past AKA I payed what you told me to previously for results, but did not get the results. BUT HERE’S WHERE IT GETS REALLY CRAZY - she said that if I were going to write a negative review THEY WOULD REFUSE TO FIX THE CURRENT ISSUE. Basically stonewalling me into agreeing with them so that I could get the wrinkles removed, which is what I was paying for ($450) anyway, and by the way the correction was $500 more.

Management refused to fix the problem unless I agreed with them. It boggles my mind that you would jeopardize the relationship of a client of 3+ years who, by the way, has referred in 5+ friend to you. TERRIBLE business management - buyer beware.

I did a TON of research before landing on this MedSpa and felt very confident in my choice based on the knowledge and raving reviews the staff had. Unfortunately my experience left me feeling more insecure than I began. I wanted two treatments, baby Botox and minimal lip filler. The Botox was exactly what I wanted and I was incredibly happy with the placement. The filler was placed too close to the surface of my lip resulting in a weird bubble. After returning to have it dissolved a month later I still have a small bubble on my left side that is the first thing I notice. Since they only dissolved a bit on one side I also am now slightly asymmetric. It’s a shame because aside from the errors on the bottom lip the top lip looked great. This office was kind and clean. I know these flukes happen with cosmetics it’s just a shame I had to experience it and am now too scared to return or try either procedure again. I still believe this office has an amazing staff but do want to warn others there is a reality that you may spend $1000 and feel worse after…

I had reservations about this clinic because I thought it was strange that a plastic surgery office would offer ketamine treatments and those are two very different worlds. Still, I gave CRMC a shot because of its close proximity to my house.

Before receiving treatment, I had to be screened by Dr. Sirak. He did take his time to "educate" me on the ketamine process. However, his input oddly conflicted with everything I've learned from 3 yrs of prior experience, research, and several other renowned clinics I'd been to. It felt sketchy, to say the least.

Despite me telling him my needs, he insisted that he knew best, and I reluctantly went along with his approach. Long story short, I left feeling worse than had I never stepped foot inside the clinic in the first place.

There are many problems with CRMC:

  1. They severely underdosed the ketamine, and my body began to panic because of it. When you're in a ketamine treatment, you should be dissociating entirely. Yes, there's a skill to finding the right dose, but I was totally lucid, and they shrugged it off and basically said, "Better luck next time. Thanks for the $500." There was no support all, just doubling down that they knew best even though I was explicitly telling them their approach was not working.

  2. My resting pillow had blood on it. Everything felt recycled and unsanitary.

  3. The chair was broken and uncomfortable. Some buttons weren't working, and half were missing. Even the headcover had slipped off.

  4. They discouraged using music and instead, suggested sitting in piercing silence in the pitch-black room to "work through all my stuff." I tried to follow their direction, but I have never heard of someone suggesting not having music for a therapeutic/psychedelic experience. My anxiety was so high that I eventually had to turn the music on. But again, if the ketamine was administered properly, I shouldn't have even been lucid enough to do that.

My greatest issue feels more like the growing problem with ketamine clinics jumping in on the cash grab of a growing industry rather than having any idea or care about the responsibility that comes with guiding patients through what can be an unsettling and difficult healing journey.

I'm not writing this review to bad mouth the office of or staff, but to strongly discourage any person from reaching out to CRMC for ketamine treatments.

Had my first experience with ketamine been anything like my visit to CRMC, I would have never looked back, which is unfortunate because ketamine/psychedelics--when handled by professionals--healed me more than any prior PTSD/depression treatment or medication ever did.

Bottom line: please seek help from a business that specializes in the field, not one that offers it as an 'add-on' to cosmetic treatments. If you need a referral, try "Ketamine Clinics of LA." It's far from WeHo, but it is worth the drive if this is the...

I want to preface this review by mentioning that this is my first ever online review. I have been getting laser hair removal treatments on my bikini area for more than 2 years, I know how it feels, and I know what to expect. My most recent experience at Zavant Aesthetics was negligent, and the way they handled the situation after burning me was disappointing, to say the least.

During my treatment, I told my technician several times that she was burning me and the pain is way more than I had ever experienced. She brushed me off, saying the settings are normal, and kept going. It hurt so bad that I was nearly in tears. I wish I made her stop. Later at home I noticed red patching all over and the area was still very painful. By the next morning there was discoloration.

I called them right away to tell them what happened, my technician told me this was ā€œcompletely normalā€ and that ā€œthis happens to her too and it will go away soonā€. Again, I have been doing this for 2 years, never has anything like this happened. After a few days of soaking myself in cream and aloe vera, the burned areas started to scab. I have scabbing on my inner labia - a part of my body that has no hair and should never have been treated. I also have discoloration and am very concerned about hyper pigmentation.

I was not expecting Zavant to heal the situation - what’s done is done and I have to deal with it. I did however expect a full refund for my treatment. I did not pay them to burn me. When I asked for a refund, I was given the runaround for days and my request to speak to upper management was always brushed to the side. Finally after about a week the manager called me to tell me that because the settings on the machine were normal, they would not be issuing me any refund.

It’s hard for me to put into words how frustrating and disappointing this entire experience has been. Again, I have never left a bad review in my life, but when I think back to how the technician ignored my pleads and then acted completely normal the next day, I begin to think that this might not be the first time this has happened to them. I will obviously never go back to Zavant Aesthetics, and I am leaving this review to bring awareness and hopefully prevent anyone else from having a...
