This was by far the longest I’ve ever waited for any kind of food!! It took over 2 hours for ice cream, which felt almost laughable 🫠.
A group of 5 of us arrived around 9:15PM to a modest line of 6-7 people out the door. Since they close at 10PM, we didn’t think much of it. My husband placed our order just before 9:30PM... I finally received my dessert shortly after 11:30PM.
*Food Quality: Decent, but not worth the wait I ordered the S’mores cone and was lucky to get the full version with all ingredients. Two friends of mine had to modify their orders due to ingredients running out. The cone was good, and as someone who is lactose intolerant, I appreciated being able to enjoy a handcrafted, dairy-free treat. That said, I wouldn’t wait more than five minutes for it again.
*Experience: Major Operational Issues A staff member said delays were due to a viral social media post the day before (which I actually hadn’t seen). We went simply because a friend wanted to try it. There was a printed sign referencing their viral popularity, which suggested this wasn't the first time they had gone viral. Another note on the door said they’d run out of ingredients earlier and were reopening at 8:30PM, so it seems they were having issues before we arrived.
There were two staff members for a bit, then one of them left. The staff member who stayed actually did a great job IMO. She handled the chaos well. She was kind and professional, and even offered refunds as delays continued.
My group stayed because we already waited over an hour and thought our order was close... unfortunately, it still took another hour.
Bottom line: The ice cream was fine, but not worth a 2-hour wait I hope they get their operations in order, whether or not something’s going viral. I felt there were too many single points of failure from an...
Read moreI'm on a mission to try all the vegan treats around town. There's a creamery down the street I fell in love with that doesn't have as big of a social media presence. So, I was ready to be dazzled. Arrived on a Friday evening and the place looks very fancy with a red carpet/photo background to pose in front of..but I didn't feel especially welcomed by the person on staff. I get it, it's just a job. I wanted to try the croissant but they were out of the strawberry and coffee flavor creams, only had the salty one left and I don't like salty cream. I asked if that was normal - to run out of those two and the staff said, yes almost always the case. So, maybe a shift in production amounts is in order? I passed on that and went straight to the 'sweet cream and chocolate swirl' with coffee syrup. I think the syrups are probably great.. and my favorite aspect of my dessert but after I carefully doled it out with bites of the top of the softserve.. there wasn't much keeping me to finish the treat. The "sweet cream" did not have much flavor at all and the chocolate left me with a mcdonalds shake...
Read moreI have been waiting so long to try this place and finally got a chance to! I was set on getting the ice cream because I'm lactose intolerant but their pastry items looked way too good to pass up. And lucky me, the day I came in they had slices of cake and mini cakes available!
The strawberry cake is an absolute standout - it was light, fresh, and decadent all at once. The cake was super moist, and when I found out everything was vegan, I was floored! I could not tell at all (honestly, the cake was way better than a lot of non-vegan cakes I've tried).
And there's so much more that I can't wait to try next time! Cookies, cheesecakes, croissants, lava cakes and soft serve...the options seemed endless!
I found out they do events/catering too so I CANNOT WAIT to order a huge dessert spread from them (friends - thank me later for your birthday cakes).
With the luxury vibes in there, amazing dessert quality, and super friendly service, I felt like the whole experience was unmatched! I'll definitely be...
