So I'm not a Target fan anyway, as I find them to be overpriced for what they sell, but my most recent visit to this store with a friend was mind blowing. She found Philips Christmas Lights at Target online on sale for $3.54 per box. When we stopped in the store, they had the same brand for $10 per box. We're talking matching box, matching SKU number, everything. We go to pay and the cashiers say they can't price match. We go to customer service. They say they cannot price match their website, but we can order from Target's website with free shipping. It was so frustrating. First of all, why would we wait days for the item to be shipped when we have it in our cart in the store? Why would Target want to lose a sale in the store and then on top of that, pay for shipping? Bad business. After going round and round with the on duty customer service manager, who said they couldn't price match (which we pointed out you aren't price matching a competitor -- it's your own damn company) we said forget it and walked out. Right across the street to Walmart who was happy to price match. As far as I'm concerned, Target can go out of business with the other...

I was in the fitting room and the employees were talking “amongst themselves” about theft and they were being quite vocal about how tired they are of cleaning up the fitting rooms. I understand this is frustrating, but I felt like a nuisance just being in there to try on clothes. I also tried to return an Easter wreath that completely fell apart within the first week of having it (it was assembled by hot glue and the glue seemed to melt in the sun) and the girl who handled my return had no idea what this item was (even though I bought the item about two weeks ago) and when she approached the register she loudly exclaimed that she was tired of crying at work and seemed to be moping around. She said the wreath was not in the system but they were still selling it on the shelves when I went to do some shopping. I did not end up getting any credit for the wreath and asked her to throw it away because it was literally in pieces. Just a disappointing trip, I come here to relax and shop but I left feeling anxious based on my...
Read moreThis is a nice Target but they have a dreadfully small grocery section, and we love getting groceries from Target because their app makes it SO easy to find everything by telling you exactly what aisle it’s in.
They were missing lots of produce like salad, spinach, broccoli, etc. and other items like matcha powder, buffalo chicken dip, and TV dinners.
Don’t get me wrong. I know there’s a major shortage of just about everything right now, but this was NOT that. THIS was simply having a physically small grocery section and missing huge areas that would otherwise be there, stocked or empty.
We’ll be getting groceries from the Target at South Hills Village from now on. We usually do and figure we’d give West Mifflin a chance, but unless/until something is done about this, I suppose that chance...
