If I could give them no stars I would.. first off the environment of the salon was so unprofessional people drinking and eating at least 7 children running up and down taking all the polish colors and not letting me or anyone else sit down on the only 3 waiting chairs they had I understand that they was busy thatâs fine but Me & my daughter had to stand up and wait for 2 & a half hours I was told if I was to leave and come back I wouldnât be seen ... so after the longest wait time for a salon in my life I got a full set by a lady that didnât know what she was doing she kept asking the other nail technicians if she was doing it right or what else she should do I asked for gel polish and she did 4 nails and completely skipped my thumb nail she was extremely frustrated that she had to go back and finish it đ¤Śââď¸ She didnât let them dry fully so I had bubbles all over my nails lastly she was the same person to give me a pedicure OH MY GOODNESS this was by far the worse pedicure ever she again had no idea what she was doing she dried my feet off with cheap paper towels ? And she was sharing tools with another technician as she was doing a pedicure too very unsanitary they didnât have matching regular polish for feet and the whole time of the pedicure was about 10 mins or less... an absolute nightmare that cost a fortune now I donât mind spending a lot of money in a nail salon when the work Is done right and I leave satisfied.. I left crying and a few days later I had to go to another salon to fix the mess they made out of me ... i was really hoping I would love this salon the people were friendly and the owner seemed very dedicated to his workers and customers I wish they will see this and try to improve but as of now I wouldnât recommend this place To any one save your cash and go...
Read moreGiving this place a 1 star after my experience. First I had to wait 45 mins to get attended but I had an appointment. I had made an appt for a gel manicure and pedicure for both my mom and I, but my mom walked out after waiting for so long and they decided to take someone else who had come 30 mins after she did. She finished her nails before I did at Glamour Girls Spa which is down the block.
As I sat on the pedicure chair, the water was still and full of bubbles, there was no massage on the chairs or jets on. The girl came and didnât put a towel under my feet to lay them on the bar, which made no sense because it got soaked within seconds. I had asked for the color Marshmallow in Essie and noticed she first put a coat of another white nail polish on and then proceeded to top it off with Marshmallow. Never seen this at any other salon before.....
To top it off when it came to my gel manicure, there was no water used to soaked my fingers to take the cuticles off and again no water after having cut & shaped my nails. Needless to say I had to come back 3 days later because 6 nails had chipped, 6!!! The girl who did them the first time has the audacity to tell me that itâs because one of my nails is broken, thatâs the reason why it chipped.... so what about the other 5 that werenât broken then? Anyways another nail chipped the next day & I just didnât want to go back and wonât ever go back to this place. Save yourself the trip, thereâs plenty of other salons with the same prices for services that will actually last & better...
Read moreFor as beautiful as the nails turn out to be, I will never step foot in this salon again. From the moment I sat down, I could hear the staff gossiping in Spanish (mind you, this is in a mostly Hispanic neighborhood so everyone, myself included, speaks Spanish) like I couldnât understand. And when I replied to one of them, they immediately silenced. Not only were my nails burning while the acrylic is setting and my fingernails ended up growing fungus due to the unsanitary and uncleaned utensils, but I was overcharged. If youâre interested in a fill-in, normally it would retail for $40 or higher, depending on if they are repairing a broken nail or if itâs simply just the design you choose. $40 is still quite pricey but overall, not bad. But once I was finished, I got charged $86. Not to mention on the same day, I treated my mother out as birthday gift for a facial (in which they lied and stated they donât do that there though itâs literally in the name âSoniaâs Nail Salon and SPAâ) with an eyebrow tinting in which I was informed would turn out cheap. Nope, I paid $120 for a facial that ended up breaking her out and $36 for an eyebrow tinting. To make matters worse, I asked for a printed receipt after I paid with card and the lady literally took it and threw it away not even realizing I was watching her this whole time. Very rude staff, very stuck up, and honestly, the most unprofessional Nail Salon to bump into. Take my advice, skip this one, and go for someplace cheaper and...
