La Comuna Grill — Restaurant in West New York

The food is good and that’s why I’m giving it a 2 star but the wait it’s way too long. I come here for lunch and it takes forever. I’m still siting here after 30 mins waiting for a simple arepa mixta and there’s not even that many people here. The waitresses are so slow. Maybe if at least the staff was friendlier and moved quicker the visit would be more pleasant but even to wait for a menu it takes them for you to get up from your chair to be noticed and get a menu.

Update after 40 mins had to leave because my lunch was over. So disappointed. Changed...

No staff speaks English. I walked in and walked to the register to place my order after waiting 10 minutes to place an order a man comes out to take orders on the other side of the restaurant mind you he sees me standing by the register waiting to order. When I asked him where do we order here or by you he responded no English and proceeded to take other people’s orders. Didn’t even try to take my order. Will not be going back again. Had some baked goodies here before Some were great (pineapple pastries) Got Calentados con Huevos and they were able to make mine with egg whites The corn cake with cheese was awesome Location was great and the place is very clean with a large screen playing the World Cup finals Service was awesome as well even though the place was starting to get packed All in all I'm glad to have found another place in Bergenline Ave for breakfast/brunch They also serve a dinner...
