I went back and forth about leaving this review but I was so dissatisfied with the service and with the outcome of my lashes that I felt like I had to. Firstly I purchased the lashes plus a refil with a Groupon. I scheduled my appointment with Michelle. Aside from the fact that she was loud and used quite a bit of vulgar language while she was doing my lashes, the first set of lashes she completed came out pretty okay. I set my appointment for my refil and went back to see her again. With the same demeanor she started to do my refil but this time she actually seemed like she was having some issue applying the lashes. At one point she literally ripped one of my actual eyelashes out of my eyelid. My eyes winced and started watering from the shock and the pain. She nonchalantly said “sorry, I had to do that”. I won’t go into detail about the remainder of my experience. Let’s just say I was dissatisfied with the finished product. She upsold me cashmere lashes and said they would be lighter on my lashes and easier for her to apply... I don’t know if I Actually got the cashmere or not as the extensions are so uncomfotable that I cannot wait for them to fall out because they are scratching my eyeball. Oh and she mentioned that the glue she was using was “so old” so maybe that has something to do with it. Every girlfriend I have has told me how bad the lashes look and how poorly they were applied. I am not really one to write bad reviews unless the experience really warrants it. Most of the time I would prefer not to say anything at all.

I have always been a customer of Karolina, Lash Secret since before the new location was even open. Karolina has always done an amazing job on me and my lashes have always lasted more than a month. (key is taking caring of them after, as well.) Once she opened her new location on Dixie Hwy I continued to go there. Sometimes she is so busy her availability is two weeks out. I have gone to other places to get this type of service and have had many bad experiences ex: allergic reactions, eyes glued together, individual lashes all stuck together, but NEVER here. The technicians here are very pleasant especially Zuni! She is now my go to lash expert because of her AMAZING WORK and her availability! I read a prior review from Ms Phil and can tell you that what she has stated is complete BS! If you pay a coupon rate the option is 80,100 or 120-piece lashes and if you received 3D lashes that sounds very accommodating to me! Mind you I am also a person who is also very sensitive in my eyes so they do water a lot and with Zuny my eyes NEVER have been red, itched or burned. So I'm currently stationed overseas so I don't live in the area, and I went Anastasha in Delray to get my eyelashes done since I am going home for the holidays, she was pretty nice. Unfortunately my lash experience was not. My eyelashes started falling off after about 30 mins when I left my appointment. I have had my eyelashes done before when I was stationed in Romania and that's never happened.
