La Sirena — Restaurant in West Palm Beach

Horrific. Condescending and self important Floor Supervisor (could never consider him a Maitre’D Hotel) . Haughty with zero Customer Service was the self proclaimed owner/manager offered only pushback when inedible charred/burnt “crispy duck” was requested to be sent back to the kitchen. No one offered up any form apology or took responsibility for the replacement (which we were discouraged from requesting. Not one refill of the flat bottle table water. The manager/owner challenged our ability to recognize or have knowledge of fine dining (BTW I possess BS Business Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Admin/Management and spent nearly 40 years managing all levels of hotel/resort from private Caribbean Island resorts to venerable Gilded Age Mansions reimagined as luxury boutique hotels tone of which was a Fodor’s Travel Guide: World’s 100 Best Hotels 2011-12 5 Star/Diamond designations, as well as multiple Florida destination resorts . Just to be clear, the price points and confrontational customer service is NOT going to salvage this sinking ship. Politeness, graciousness, kindness and empathy may have saved this establishment. Better that they should close their doors and retire or let professionals displace this owner operator. The customer service, or lack thereof smells of desperation and an establishment short on $. What a shame, as we had been repeat customers . The rude and inappropriate behavior continued into the parking lot while awaiting our vehicle. The Floor Supervisor followed us out of the building to berate us, swear and order us out…we had decided to end our attempt at dinner, refusing to pay a check that included the original duck entree that was sent back and the replacement which equally charred...

This review is long overdue !! Marcello’s La Sirena is truly a hidden gem. From the moment we walk in, we are treated like family. Every detail of the service is carefully thought out, and the personal attention makes us feel incredibly special. We work in the hospitality industry and they live up to our standards. Marcello always takes the time to greet us personally, which makes the experience even more memorable.

The food is incredible. This is hands down the best Italian food you’ll find anywhere in the area. Every dish is crafted to perfection, full of flavor, and always leaves us looking forward to the next visit. The veal dishes and rigatoni vodka are our favorite.

We come here for e birthdays and special occasions because it always makes the day feel special but also just because we love it. Their homemade limoncello is an absolute treat, and the wine list is the best you’ll find in Florida. This place is more than a restaurant—it’s an experience we look forward to.

We always feel welcomed and appreciated, which is why this has become our favorite restaurant without a doubt. Andre’s always takes great care of us, 10/10 every time! Highly recommend Marcello’s La Sirena to anyone looking for a top-tier...

The only reason I gave it 1 star was because the take out order of all’s vodka pasta for $12 was literally the size of a $3 frozen dinner. The penne pasta didn’t even fill up to half of the container. I could literally count 19 penne’s and none of them stacked over on top of each other...that’s how little of a portion there was. They all lied flat on the tin foil container. Obviously, I will get nothing out of this review but La Sirena will see it and never again rip somebody off and be a cheap skate again...and as for future order out customers —- I am doing you a service by writing this FOR YOU...do not do takeout from La Sirena...my 3 year old niece would eat this for lunch at her preschool...
