Jean is simply amazing because she actually looked at me & listened when I was explaining how I wanted my hair to look when she finished. She took her time and asked questions throughout to make sure she was doing what was best for me. I am VERY particular about who cuts my hair. I have found a home here at Marion's and you will as well after just one visit.

It is a quaint little shop who's owner introduced herself to me even though I wasn't her client, which meant a lot to me personally...it showed me she cares about her patrons and her name in this community.

My hair is, to say the least, unruly curls with complete mind of their own blended with a mix of oddly straight sections...long and think which is nice but a bit oppressive and time consuming if I don't want to look like Janis Joplin on a bad hair day post Woodstock...and I am recovering from a terrible hair cut from a few months ago. Shelf bangs says it all. Never again. My Mother-in-law goes to Marion's and recommended the salon so I went and am quite happy I did! Jean was my stylist, and was very careful to listen to my hair issues (bad haircut which was obvious, no idea how to manage my type of hair and need a low maintenance style). She carefully addressed all the concerns, gave a great cut-really perfect-taught me a simple, not too time consuming technique to help my curls look great and discussed type of products I should and shouldn't use for my hair type. She was also super fun to talk with! Highly recommend...

Always a good experience! This is a very friendly salon, no "snippy" (pardon the pun) stylists here, just really nice people who listen to what you want. I have my hair colored here and Marion has done a wonderful job of matching my natural color. And she does it consistently, in spite of continual formula changes by the color companies. Coloring hair it turns out, is quite a science and Marion and her staff take classes and attend seminars to keep up with all the advances. I've seen everyone from toddlers to seniors having their hair done at Marion's so you know they offer a wide range of services. The location is convenient, between Forest Hill & Southern on Dixie Hwy. Street parking and plenty of parking...
