Nice clothes and good prices but very poor customer service. I unfortunately felt very uncomfortable shopping there. I showed up at 855 pm and the place closed at 930 pm. I grabbed some clothes to try on and when I was in the dressing room around 9:10 pm, an older employee who was likely the manager (bald, probably 60 years old) came in and made direct eye contact with me while I was trying on a shirt and said, âSir you only have a few minutes.â I told him that I was going to quickly try on a few items and he rolled his eyes at me and left the dressing room. I then felt incredibly rushed even though the store was still open for another 20 minutes. I quickly tried on the clothes and felt as if I didnât immediately leave that the same guy would come in on me and get even more mad, so I quickly grabbed 2 shirts and went to the cashier to check out. Unfortunately, I didnât feel that I had time to hang up all the clothes nicely or fold them and there were no employees to assist me like other stores have outside the dressing rooms. When I was checking out at the cashier, the same old guy came up to me and was even more mad this time and said, âSir if you ever shop here again, you need to take better care of the dressing room.â I told him that I felt rushed when the store was open for another 20 minutes and that I didnât want to upset him more by spending time to fold all the clothes. He didnât even give me the time of day to hear me out and was gone before I could even finish my sentence in front of him. Talk about an awkward and uncomfortable experience. No one else seemed unpleasant in the store but wow did that older guy appear to hate his job and the customers in the store. The sad thing is I think he was the manager. Oh well, I will not be going in...
Read moreLarge selection of clothing but the store is set up similar to a Goodwill where they're just hanging on large racks and you have to sort through everything in hopes you'll find what you're looking for. They are sorted by size which helps but it's still a time consuming process to attempt finding what you like. From what I saw, the prices were decent but if you decide to go for any kind of clothing, make sure you put some time aside, you're going to need it.
While I was there, I asked about their return policy on footwear because they have a pretty good selection. Sadly, it's only a 30 day return window and can only be worn around the home if you have any expectation of getting a refund. This is typical of many retail establishments but as a hiker, the true test for footwear is on the trail for several miles. A $20 membership at REI will allow for a return up to a year, no questions asked.
In all and other than the pricing, I wasn't too impressed. I might return to check it out again someday but find that it would be easier to shop on their website to find what I'm...
Read moreThis is one of my favorite stores to shop for ski gear, until today. They have a display case of ski goggles that I needed assistance with. You need to size and try on goggles before blowing $100+ to make sure the fit is correct. A young employee opened the case for me and continued to stock the racks but stayed nearby⌠understood. Next thing I know, the store manager comes out of nowhere and is meticulously watching me try on and size the goggles, like making me very uncomfortable as if he thought I was going to run out of the store with them!!! Not to mention it was hard to even reach half of them because it was a tight mess in the display case!! He was absolutely hovering. Didnât ask if I needed help with getting to any of them, just watched me like I was a criminal or like I was going to break something. I had my older child with me and even my son felt the man was being overbearing. Iâve never felt so uncomfortable trying on gear before. Unprofessional behavior, he could have at least...
