Ok , I've been going to this fitness center for 5 years now. Been going to gyms since 1982. I'm 50 years old, but fit. I like the atmosphere, and I don't particularly go during busy hours. Plenty of machines of all kinds. I do cardio and lift. Staff is ok, usually busy behind the counter on their cel phones. One female employee, the shortest and skinniest and perhaps the youngest, is a workaholic, always vacuuming, wiping down machines, etc. Yet another one barely gets off of her swivel chair behind the counter. So you have all types working there.

I like working out there. Hate the music. 5 years, same current top 20 bubble gum pop/rap tunes of the day. Oy vey. It's actually a rule. Employees are not allowed to change the station. A couple years ago I tried to bribe an employee with $20 to change the station for one day. She held fast to the rule.

I don't know about the women's locker room/bathroom, I read another reviewer thought the bathrooms were clean, but she did not go into the men's locker room. I don't know how often the locker rooms/bathroom facilities are cleaned. I know not enough. I don't know if a janitorial service is used. I don't know if it's part of the employees' job description. But the bathroom facilities were dis-gus-ting. Wouldn't you think they would be cleaned every night? Three days in a row so far the same encrusted toilet...stains....remnants...I couldn't believe it. Walls could use a good bleaching. So if the locker rooms are like this, it just leads me to believe the weights/cardio area isn't well cleaned as it should be. So my advice : Wash hands. Wipe down machines before AND after use. Most users do not wipe machines. They have neither clue nor care of what germs can be caught. Oh and wash hands again. And take advantage of their anti-bacterial dispensers if you see them. It's not a bad gym. Just protect yourself, and bring your own music. Slim Whitman, Boy George,...

These people have the worst customer service I have ever seen. I moved from the area 4 months ago and canceled my membership with plenty of notice. They continued to charge me for the following 3 months while I was never able to use their gym and when I closed the account they were charging I got an angry phone call from their assistant manager Ashley demanding that I pay them more money. When trying to explain the situation I was berated by her over the phone to the point that she would not let me speak. I finally got my word in tell her that I was no longer going to pay for a service that I was not able to use and was told "Fine this conversation is over then," and hung up. I will be contacting the actual manager as soon as possible. I have no complaints about the facilities but beware that they will treat you, the paying customer, like dirt and try to scam you out of all the money they can.

Update - I spoke with the manager this morning and am glad to report that everything was resolved in a polite and professional mannor with her. I dont know what was up with their asst....

Luxe fitness is a great facility! The shear size and amount of equipment inside are unmatched in the area! Over 20,000 square feet of fitness equipment!!! Great trainers on site for all levels of fitness needs!!! The cleanliness of the facility is also top notch! Not only are there alcohol gel stations throughout the facility, there are ready wipes and spray bottles with towels for the members to wipe down the equipment after use. All within a couple of feet of the machines that you are using. The workers are constantly vacuuming and wiping down the equipment as well. The equipment is well maintained and when taken out of service, repaired quickly. The locker rooms are clean, again the workers are constantly vacuuming inside when they are able to get in. For the money you won't find a better deal or fitness center to join!! Hours are great, the place never closes for holidays, storms etc. Highly...
