Read moreI love this place. The ambiance is fantastic. It used to be a historic hotel . It's a great place for kids, too. The kids' books are downstairs. Books are all new and at cover price, plus they have a place to grab coffee or food. The coffee is amazing- see update. My new go-to for new books! They have mini doors on the panel of the floor. Also, they have a chance to win a golden ticket for a gift card in their candy bars. Total literature lovers dream. I highly recommend it during off season.

I am so excited to see a new store rise from the ashes, and being able to shop as a customer, not only as a bookseller, was a delight. Martin House Books retains all the elegance and beauty of Savoy, while also adding many many touches that elevate the charm and function of the space! The book selection is still incredible, and the new booksellers are friendly and knowledgeable. Best of all, the children's space has been revamped and is more open, cheerful, and family-friendly than ever. There's even a changing table in the bathroom! I can't wait...
