Amish Originals — Local services in Westerville

Merchandise selection is outstanding, so many options for all furniture categories. The staff is quite pretentious to say the least. Two women sitting in center of store had conversation after conversation, not attempting to assist anyone around them.

No communication regarding updates on order, until I reached out to them. Delayed response until I raised concern about communication. Owner was very helpful once communication concern was raised.

As for the product - subpar for the cost. Item was not in same condition as what they had in showroom. One of the two chairs has more give than the other. I contacted the store, they came out but didn’t get a lot of follow up. Owner pushed concern to a manager.

Not sure if we didn’t spend enough money for them to care about us as customers or if this is how everyone is treated.

We went elsewhere for our dinning room table, and we absolutely had the best experience ever. If you’re looking for quality furniture, there are other quality options around town.

Overall this is certainly a middle of the road type of furniture store. Prices are fair, selection is superb, customer service is subpar, product (after long wait) subpar. If it’s selection and pricing is all you’re looking for, they may be...

I had a bad customer experience at Amish Originals. We stopped in, and were looking for a coffee table. The ones in stock did not meet what we were looking for in terms of size and design. So we asked about an option of a custom table. The person working with us seemed difficulty listening to what we were looking for, kept repeatedly asking us for the same information on measurements and style. He seemed to not be interested in working in us, and repeatedly told us we should try and find an option that was in stock. He finally took all the information and promised to call us after talking to their craftsmen. Based on interaction, I guess I am not surprised we never heard from him? It was unfortunate, because we were willing to spend the money on a custom table, and the furniture definitely is well made. Just a very bad customer service experience...and they weren't busy at all at the time we were...

My husband and I have purchased several pieces of fabulous Amish-made furniture from this store. From a glass-front bookcase to sideboard, from dining room chairs to two bedroom chest-of-drawers to sterio cabinet. We went again in February to look for lamps, end tables, and leather chairs. Lou helped us and was so fun and easy to work with. The other staff members also reached out to offer assistance and answer questions. We did order several end tables and two leather chairs. Extremely happy as always with the quality of workmanship. Supporting the craftsmen here in Ohio is something we think is extremely important! Definitely put Amish Originals on your MUST VISIT list for your home...
