I have been a customer of Marcs for a long time. The employees at the registers aren't always pleasent. I had one lady actually throw my stuff down on the counter because I was going to bag my groceries. But today takes the cake. A middle aged, unattractive, white man dressed in a security guard outfit was watching me as I picked out the perfect grapes. I like them a certain way. I got my bag of grapes and started to pick some small grapes out of another bag. Some larger bunches that were in my bag I swapped for the small ones. I was not picking out grapes one by one or anything. As a matter of fact, an elderly lady was just doing the same thing and I picked up the ones she dropped and put them in a bag. But he never approached her! As I continued to shop this man said you know that's vandalism. Huh? Vandalism and stealing is what this person accused me of. I simply exchanged grapes. Really? I told him I would just put them back or replace them. I told him I was not there to hurt anyone. What could I do to make it right? I have never been accused of these things in my life! How dare this man accuse me especially when he was far away. Why couldn't he just ask me what I was doing? There is no sign saying no swapsies! I will never come back to this store as long as this rude man works there. He made me feel embarassed, uncomfortable and disrespected the way he talked to me! I did nothing wrong. If they were pre measured grapes I could understand but not regular grapes that are weighed at the checkout. They just lost a customer that spent a lot of money there that will now gladly spend my money...

Lousy customer service! I bought eggs and the female manager was so unprofessional. I paid for organic eggs that were expired upon buying them. Apparently they do not do quality control and check expiration dates. I did not keep my receipt because I did not anticipate this issue. I brought back their expired eggs and asked for an exchange or refund since I paid for a new and usable product. She denied it and refused to correct this situation. That is lousy service and treatment of your customers. I have spend a lot of money shopping here, but I will not be going back. I am also warning all of my family and friends. I am so disappointed. What kind of grocery store does not stand behind their product? Receipt or not, that was a lapse in their quality control and customer service. Kroger does not mistreat their customers like this and I will be taking my money elsewhere in the future.
She was yelling and claiming without a receipt she can’t do anything about it.
Thank you for wasting my time and money. I hope corporate is aware of how they treat their customers and that they don’t check expiration dates/stand behind what they sell...

In the last year I’ve noticed some changes as some of the staff and management has become rude and treating me unfairly. And multiple people I’ve spoken to shared the same experience. Marc’s in Westerville has become a store employed by racist white people who seem to have a problem with black people who are either purchasing items in bulk (the sales ad and no signage did not say there’s a limit) and or exchanging items the cashier made a mistake on the original purchase. What I experienced today from the manager & front customer service was highly offensive and uncalled for. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN AND WILL BE CONTACTING CORPORATE ABOUT MY...
