I ordered some seeds form here. They took so long to ship I had forgotten that I ordered them. Once they came, I planted them and have been pleased so far. I decided to order more but it now stated the shipping lead time is 30 days (didn't say this when I originally ordered). We are relatively local (35-40min away), so I figured we'd go in person to purchase and pick up. I called several times over the week to check on hours. No one answered. Hours online (fb and website) said they were open. So we made the trip up there. Their doors were wide open, I walked into the building and had someone just stare at me. No hello, no talking. I said hello and asked if I could make my purchase. The woman was very short with me. She said, "we aren't open, nothing's open". I told her I tried calling several times over the week. She got short with me again and said, "we aren't answering our phones. They can't answer the phones. They are too busy". Then she told me I had to order online. I explained that we couldn't wait the extra 30 days and wanted to purchase in person, which is why we made the drive. She again, got very short with me and complained how busy they are and held up a bunch of orders in a box telling me,"who knows, your order could be in here", even though I explained I came specifically to purchase a new order. She also kept waking into my personal space that would be uncomfortable even when not in a pandemic. There are so many businesses suffering right now and she literally complained they were too busy, not to mention was downright rude in her mannerisms and response. I will not be placing anymore orders from this business as a result. This behavior towards a customer was downright rude. I would have been understanding had she behaved in a different way. This was an incredibly disappointing experience. A little non hostile communication goes a very long way. Maybe even update the website and fb page to state the store is closed so no one else...
   Read moreI don't take 5 stars lightly. They went above and beyond my expectations. I bet it had something to do with all of their recent 1 star reviews. Had I read those prior to making a purchase I may not have ordered from this place but I AM HAPPY I did.
I ordered 20 seed packets ( I live in Las Vegas and would NEVER have live plants shipped in our heat.)
First they set proper expectations with a big red banner on top of every web page letting me know that my order may take 25 or more days to ship do to COVID 19.
I received my order in about 23 days. I ordered 20 separate packets and was skeptical that I would receive all of them given that most seed retailers are completely ransacked right now. 4 of my seeds were unavailable. Not only did they issue a refund for the 4 packets, BUT THEY INCLUDED FREE SUBSTITUTES. I would have been irritated if they tried to make me pay for the substitutes as I already had 1 of them and an other substitute is not ideal for my climate.
Also they include more seeds by count or weight then they advertise. I ordered 25 watermelon seeds and the package had 37. I ordered an ounce of pea seeds and received 1.7 ounces. I stopped checking after 5 or six packets since they were all over what was stated on the website.

We ordered potatoes a month before we needed them and paid a premium because we wanted some goofy, blue heirloom potatoes they advertised, and because we are also from Indiana and like to stay as local as possible. The potatoes didn't come. We called, they said they were sending them. They didn't come. We called. They finally sent some of them with a refund check for the ones we really wanted because they didn't actually have them. We finally got 2/3rds of our order month after we wanted to get them in the dirt (yup, that adds up to two months total), and what we did get was the plain stuff we could have picked up at the local nursery. Not to be petty, but the amount of the refund check wasn't correct either. They charged us for tax on the whole bill, but then only paid us back for the initial amount of the potatoes we didn't get, and not for the tax on them we had already paid. Not enough of a mistake to make a big deal over, but you would think they would try to do extra stuff for us after messing our potato crop up for the season, rather than skimming a few bucks from the refund. They were polite on the phone.
