A decent viet restaurant that can get busy during weekend meal times. It's what you'd expect, food was just okay, decorations are kinda awkward, and so were the dozens of high schooler waiters running around.
Mango squid salad: Get! This was probably the best thing here! Just a well balanced salad with sweet flavors complimenting each other
Thai soup: Get Flavors were punchy and bright. I don't understand why it's in hot pot form though as they bring it to you with everything in it and fully cooked
Fish soup: Maybe? I think it could be decent on its own but compared to the above, it was outshined.
Fried catfish: Sure lol If you're here with your whole family or friends and wanna do the viet thing, then grab one of these whole fishes and have a good time making spring rolls
Overall at 30 bucks for hot pot entree that feeds a few people is a good deal but I'd prefer other hot pot places over this. The table clothes underneath look a little dirty too so that was off putting

Read moreFood: I ordered their shaken beef, oysters with cheese, lemongrass clams, razor clams with green onions, scallops with green onions and their Thai hotpot. Their shaken beef was so tender and their pasta wasn’t bad-it had a buttery taste to it. I believe OC and Lau doesn’t parmesan while this place does. The oysters were a bit smaller too but maybe it’s not in season. Their clams were really big and the lemongrass flavor was subtle. I really recommend getting some sort of shellfish like clams or scallops and having it with the green onions! Everything came hot and sizzling. Their razor clams were chopped for you so it’s easier to eat. There is a green dipping sauce that I’d describe as a sour-tangy cilantro sauce and they give you Tabasco as well. Their Thai hotpot is worth the price. It comes with vermicelli noodles, fish, quail eggs, vegetables, large prawns, squid and clams. Service: Staff was really nice and caring. Random notes: There is outdoor seating and they are...
Read moreWow! Talk about a pleasant surprise! We planned to go to Little Saigon to have dinner at PHO79 which we saw a video on YouTube but when we got there the line was crazy. So hopped on Yelp and found this gem close to freeway. There was a bit of a line but you can get on the wait list using Yelp. Extensive menu. Literally 100s of items. My son ordered the shaken beef and rice which was amazing. My wife and I shared the Thai seafood hot pot. And boy were we surprised as to how much seafood and quail eggs and veggies and rice noddle they brought with the broth. Bit stuffed and delicious lemon grass flavor. Two other table has ordered a huge friend fish which will be on on our visit here as definitely a must visit place in the heart of Westminster. Our bill was $48 for the two items that stuffed 3 people. Definitely quality, taste and value. We sat outside where they had plenty of heat lamps. Bonus....
