Party Store — Local services in Westminster

I've been coming here for well over a decade. I don't care to share the actual amount of years. I have never lived in this area but its always worth the drive. The employees have all been friendly and helpful at every visit. Prices are standard. And it's all under one giant roof. The only criticism I could dream up is that getting into their parking lot takes some awareness of the area. If you're traveling South on Huron you can turn directly in. But if you're traveling North there's a light and a parking lot drive with some pretty major potholes. I still found this irrelevant to my review.

I started coming here before I had kids. But once I became a Mother this place has consistently bailed me out. When my 3rd grader came home from school and told me he needed a cat costume for a play at school the next day, they saved me. When the kids request outlandish Halloween costumes, they save me. When a week before Christmas you're expected to have Santa at your party, they save me. Easter basket fillers, non-food class gifts, Valentines balloon that holds a gift card ... saved me. When we got into adult sized costumes this is the only place that could save me. Decorations, plates, smoke machines, giant balloons, costumes ... this place has always had my back for all the random life throws me.

I was just here the day before Valentine's Day and they fortunately still had a good amount of things. Even my procrastination hasn't created a bad experience and that's really saying something!

When you walk in you'll see the cashiers. This is where they have hundreds of eyelashes, glasses/sunglasses, a wall of balloons, decorations and trinkets. Past that the first few isles are plates, cups and decorations. The ever desired smoke machines will be found here. Then you enter a second section that is enormously filled with all your costume desires. Need a boa? How about a huge selection of styles and colors! Masks and accessories and hats and wings... and of course the actual costumes. I have never left empty handed.

Overall I couldn't ask for more. The best humans work here. The most stuff is here. Even worth my 45 minute commute too. You won't be...

I absolutely recommend the store to anyone!!! They were VERY helpful and accommodating!! I originally stumbled into the store because Party City would not help with my sisters gender reveal party balloon. Party City apparently doesn't have, nor could stuff a balloon with confetti, this made me very upset given the fact I only had 2 days to get the balloon ready, because the ultra sound and party were only 2 days apart!! I was the only one who knew the gender.....it all laid on me and making this surprise perfect!! Talk about stress! Anyway, I came into the store and the clerk Elizabeth helped me in my frantic hour, I explained my dilemma with Party City and she reassured me that she could help! She lead me to the balloon isle, recommended a big 3 foot black balloon, cause little balloons look a little sad, go big or go home!! She then showed me all the adorable confetti and helped coordinate more balloons (pink and blue)....she got the balloons set with coordinating ribbons and assured me I could pick them up the next day....I left feeling happy :) the next day I came to pick everything up, the balloons were set, bagged and ready for the party!!!......okay now flash forward to the party, it was beautiful with pink and blue balloons and decorations too...thanks again for helping with the decorations too... ..now time for the big reveal.....my sister and brother-in-law had pins in hand POPPED the balloon & pink confetti AND pink flowers flew everywhere!!! I didn't order the flowers, instead the party store went above and beyond to make the pink really pop out, PINK rained down EVERYWHERE and it made this very special day perfect and VERY memorable!!! Thank you so much!! I will never go to another party store other than this one again, you gained a customer for life!! Thank you for everything and for all your help, professionalism and taking on my chaotic dilemma !...

This is such a unique store. I fell in love literally as soon as I walked in. They seem to have EVERYTHING you would need for parties including so many costumes and the variety of masks was Insane. But that's not all...they have so many cool things like unique purses, horror figurines, awesome buttons and stickers so much more. It's so much more than a party/halloween store and has something for everyone so please just go check it out! I saw so many things I wanted but was there to but stuff for my daughter's birthday party and had my fingers crossed that they would have Harry Potter themed supplies and wouldn't ya know ...they did! A whole section I could choose from. And so many other themes and characters. But I was so blown away by the variety of masks. They had a mask of Keifer Sutherlands character from Lost Boys!!! Great quality and everything I bought was priced below what I expected. I can't wait to go back! I can almost guarantee that if you're having trouble finding what you need for any party, for any costume, and just any unique way to express yourself that THEY HAVE IT. My new favorite store! I also saw a sign that they're family run which I love. And the staff...AMAZING! Go check this place out. You will not be...
