I had leaving a review like this but I’m going to… we preferred via DoorDash spend over $80. When the food was delivered the ramen was missing the broth (everything else was in a bowl except the broth). We called and told them the broth was missing. I’m not mad about missing the item, it happens. But the person who picked the call said, “let me check with the employee” then came back saying “well it’s not here so we must’ve put in the bag”. offered for a credit for next time but i said I already have everything else here but they said “we dint have a driver to delivery” so I said I’ll come pick it up. When I arrived I shared my frustration like I ordered delivery so I don’t have to drive here and he said sorry but he also kept saying “it wasn’t left here so it should’ve been in the delivery”. I get the thought of maybe the driver took it or forgot it in the car. But why would the driver take just broth lol
Then comes 2nd strike - we also ordered karaage Japanese fried chicken. I somewhat know the restaurant industry so my guess is they don’t make this from scratch but I’ll add it to this review. It looked kinda undercooked (it’s hard to tell in the picture) but one of them even had a hair tangled in🤢🤮
Lastly I get home and poured the broth in the ramen bowl and it...
Read moreVery overpriced and tiny portions bordering on stingy, except for the rice which they pile into everything to provide filler I guess.
Near $70 for lunch for 2 adults and 2 kids. Spicy miso ramen tasted good, but at $12.50, I was extremely disappointed in the portions and quality. Ramen is one of the cheapest foods to make, but this place charges more than most of the great ramen places in Los Angeles or anywhere else I’ve been, and the portions for that price were laughable. A giant bowl less than half full of broth with about a cup of noodles. Kids each had a chicken teriyaki bowl for $12.50 also. Lots and lots of white rice and maybe a half cup of chicken with about 3/4 cup of veggies. Really? This would be around the $7 or $8 range at a normal priced place. The wife stated that her Japanese beef bowl was overloaded with rice and a very small portion of meat for $12.50. Laughable.
Pros: Friendly service Very clean They have self-serve water that has cups next to it so you can get your own water to drink.
Cons: Overpriced, no value. Tiny portions of ramen. Doesn’t make sense as ramen and broth is super cheap to make.
-We will not be back as there are many other better choices for...
Read moreThe feeling was like Noodles and Company style for getting your food. I got the vegetable miso. The noodles were like very good store noodles on the soft side, and the broth was delicate. I can understand how people would say weak. I don't think watery would be correct, which is what I think of when I think weak. It's more light and easy, with vegetables it paired well if you aren't looking for a super heavy stir fry type flavor. If slurped, it is good. If not slurping, the broth slides off the noodles. A lot of people in Denver don't understand what it means to slurp noodles or fear it might be rude. As the saying goes, there's a method to the madness, and in this broth, the noodles need slurping. Anyway, it's a good lunch ramen. I've eaten at a lot of ramen restaurants around here, and it's standard. The reason for not having five stars is mostly the food. It's kind of hard to compare since this is a fast food experience but ramen and the only other noodle fast food experiences I've had are Noodles and Company and Tokyo Joe's maybe Panda Express chow mein 😅 the rest have been restaurants where I was waited on. I guess three stars if I were to compare everything, but idk the food is...
