Tijuana Flats — Restaurant in Weston

This review would be zero stars if there was an option. The food is not the issue. The food is good. The service is NON EXISTENT. Anytime my wife and I have placed a to go order, the service has been poor and taken forever. Last month on 12/12/24 was maybe the worst complete lack of customer service I have ever witnessed in a restaurant. I waited for 10 minutes at the to go counter. There was one order and one empty soda cup on the to go rack behind the counter. 5 different employees who were not busy walked right by me. Someone with a burgundy polo shirt and hat that looked to be a supervisor walked right behind the to go counter I was standing at, grabbed something, ignored me, handed something to the girl working the cash register and retreated to the back. I ended up going to the rack myself to confirm my name was on the receipt/bag. It was, so l grabbed my meal. The soda cup was empty, so (like another women before me) I went to the front of the order line to ask for my soda to be filled. The girl ignored me, answered a phone and then took someone else in line. I left the soda cup there and stormed out. From the minute I walked in to the minute I walked out = 0 Service. We were a big fan of Tijuana Flats. Love the atmosphere, the sauces, and the food. However, they have really gone down hill. Used to order to go all the time and the last 4 times they've always messed it up. Also, the veggie options for their burritos is literally just lettuce, onion and tomato and yet I still have to pay the same price as if I got meat and cheese in it. I've never been anywhere that offered a veggie option and it was just lettuce. In general, it means a mixed vegetable like mushrooms, squash, carrots, etc. I feel really ripped off that they charge full price for lettuce. Especially since I don't get any cheese or sour cream with it. There was also a time when I waited an hour and a half for a to go order because they gave our food to someone else. They said they were giving me a refund and 2 $25 gift cards. The refund never came through and there was nothing on the gift cards I was given. That really ticked me off. If you're vegetarian, plant based or vegan, just skip this one all together because you won't get your money's worth and their customer service leaves much...

Always missing something from my order from this location. I don’t know if the issues revolve around ordering online or not all I know is every time I order from this location online something is missing from my order.

Last time I paid extra to make my burrito wet and it came plain and dry like the chicken inside. I didn’t feel like driving back because it was at the end of the night and they were closed.

This time I ordered a bowl and the description of the bowl has jalapeños and guacamole, both were missing from my bowl.

This review comes after 4 or 5 messed up orders from this location. I don’t get it, I have not had issues at other locations like plantation. Hopefully management finds this review and can make whatever...
