Old Town Cafe — Restaurant in Wethersfield

Hey, its time for a Honest Review!! While taking a stroll past this cafe, my friend (who is black) decided to pop in and ask for a napkin. He was told that he would need to pay for the napkin if he was not a customer. When my friend left the cafe, the bartender closed the main door, which was open before we got there. I will let my friend leave his review with more details. However, I would just like to add that this experience was very disappointing and disturbing. The cafe was filled with all white customers. Fantastic place. Not exactly a cafe per se. The service was great, and beer was nice and cold. The only "downside" is that they don't actually have food. You will need to order it over at Luna, which is attached and can be entered within the building. They have fantastic food thiugh if you do decide to order! Almost forgot that it is a very local bar where everyone seems to know each other. We were the outsiders, but I'm sure they'll remember us since my wife forgot her purse. Worst experience I’ve had at a bar in years. Bartender “Diva” needs to learn some respect and some customer service. I’ve been going to the OT for years and I’m DONE!
