City of Wetumpka Farmers Market — Local services in Wetumpka

We are on a cross country trip from California to South Carolina and decided to make an overnight stop in Wetumpka. The first place we went was the Farmer's Market to have a picnic lunch. The setting is beautiful and I appreciated the clean restrooms. There is also a walking/fitness trail that leads through the woods and apparently is a good place to spot birds. The only real negative thing I can say about the place is that the wood on the picnic benches is warping. But that is a minor inconvenience and an easy fix. We enjoyed our lunch beside the Coosa River and it was the perfect start to our day of exploring the charming town...

Really enjoyed. I used to go to the ones in Chattanooga all the time. I really wished there were more food vendors as I used to love to get breakfast and walk around to all the vendors. The vendors they had were great with lots of variety. Mom even got some Cajun peanuts. Can't recommend the parking as I parked on the grass lot and and some dummy in a Prius parked right in the middle of the entrance and...

The BBQ truck was good, actually really good. The Mac and cheese they sell is exceptional!! As a whole the farmers market needs help, very few venders and not sure how many actual farmers were there, but not many.
