Love this shop! We went to visit first in July - way before I needed to look for a dress. My sister lives in another country and I wanted her to be part of the process so I made some appointments for when she was home. I had no idea what I wanted at all. We met with Maggie and she had a handful of dresses picked out for me to try. I asked if it was ok if my family wandered around and picked a few things too and she was completely open to it. We just had so much fun!! I was a great experience! I was expecting a difficult day of things not fitting the way I imagined, and it was nothing like that! Maggie was so helpful and picked some great options! We actually had a hard time narrowing it down. But I just genuinely appreciated her patience and letting me try everything under the sun. She has so many dresses and the options were endless. She helped me to pick a few to save for later. We were going to 2 other shops that day, but after visiting the other 2 places I knew I wanted to return here. The other places were fine, but they just didn’t have the same touch. It was such an intimate setting and the prices were great! I went to a couple others over the last few months. Maggie’s place just felt special. It felt like they really cared and there was no pressure. I enjoyed the experience so much I was praying I would find my dress here. Fast forward a few months and now I’m ready to decide. I had emailed Maggie a photo of a dress similar to what I thought my final vision was and she emailed me back right away with a couple options so that’s when I made the appointment. I met with her associate, Kornelia, and she had all my previously saved dresses out, plus the ones Maggie sent me via email. And one additional one that fit the description I had sent Maggie. And that last one was the one! It was perfect! I had tried on so many at so many shops, and they were all beautiful and would have been great. But there was always something missing. I had asked so many people I knew who were married how they picked their dress, and so many times the answer was “I didn’t want to look anymore”- how romantic… But this dress was everything I dreamed and I didn’t even know it! I felt genuine excitement when wearing it - and I don’t get excited about much! I walked in Maggie’s store on the first day with no clue and I am so glad I found THE ONE here! I got married last year and haven’t had a chance to write a review since, but today I was reflecting on my experience and I’m so happy I got my dress from here. I probably went to 10 different dress shops before coming across this place and it was a blessing. The shop is smaller than many I had gone to, but there is no shortage of dresses. I must have tried on 50 dresses at other shops, and nothing even came close to what I wanted. When I got there, I met Maggie, the owner, described what I was looking for, and she pulled 3 dresses, all of which were incredible and one ended up being my dress! Maggie really listened to what I wanted and didn’t try to push me into something I didn’t love. A family tragedy struck during the wedding planning process and I became overwhelmed and forgetful. Things that were supposed to be exciting for a new bride became a burden. I found my dream dress, but I remember crying at my first fitting, thinking about the loss my family and I had experienced. I also forgot about appointments, forgot to bring shoes to the fitting where they planned to hem my dress and threw in last minute adjustments...I was a real mess, but Maggie was so patient. I imagine she must have been frustrated with me, (I know I would have been) But she never showed it. She was so patient and comforting and it felt so good to know this was one area of the wedding I didn’t have to worry about. It is shocking for me to see anything but positive reviews on here because even as difficult as I was, I received nothing but kindness from Maggie. As I reflect on the difficult year I had, I’m still so touched when I think about my experience. I don’t know if everyone can speak so positively of the person who sold them their wedding dress, but I can honestly say, I will always remember Maggie. The shop is elegant and perfect for pictures. I said YES to the dress, at Atelier Igar Bridal!! Maggie was my consultant and she was above and beyond wonderful to work with!

I was the crazy bride that tried on over one hundred dresses before I finally said yes. I have had many consultants previously, and Maggie is definitely the best! I couldn't have said yes in a better bridal salon.

When I arrived at Atelier Igar Bridal, this was already my hundredth stop for the right wedding dress. I was very discouraged at this point. Maggie did not pressure me into buying a dress on my first day. This was such a relief. Maggie was very sweet and optimistic and let me, my mom, and maid of honor hand pick dresses that caught our eyes and made suggestions based on the styles we liked. She was sweet and optimistic the entire time.

The dress that I said yes to was ultimately not even in the store. One of the first dresses I tried on was at a sample sale boutique. Every store I contacted, said that they were unable to order the dress for me, except Atelier Igar Bridal. Maggie contacted the designer directly and found out the dress was still available for a few weeks before it would be discontinued. She let me go home and sleep on it and kept in touch with me throughout the weeks. She kept me well informed about my deadlines for ordering the dress in time.

Ultimately, I took so long to say yes, that Maggie had to bend over backwards to order the dress the last night (literally during store closing) before it was discontinued forever. She also contacted the designer to order extra fabric for a custom veil and even though it was too late and past the deadline, she was able to get the extra fabric for me!
