My Experience with the store Is.... very DISSATISFIED! My experience started with the Purchase of, What I thought was "top of the line" brand STIHL chainsaw, Which after A few uses With it led to a seized engine. With no explanation on the cause from their in store Small engine mechanic, the one year warranty on it was honored and i received a new one in its replacement. At this point I was satisfied, Until after just 3 uses with this new one. It would not start after repeated attempts. Again I returned it to store for analysis. After a few Weeks I was told Not of the starting issue but that it had some Other issue that was blamed on operator error, after only three uses!! After reluctantly agreeing for a new part to be ordered and installed, The In store repair Person has not been able to fix it, Claiming that "He does not know how to"! The chainsaw has been completely disassembled and even after Multiple visits to speak with the mechanic, There has been No effort put towards the repair. It is now going on 6 months With no results! Read moreI am writing to express my extreme disappointment with a recent purchase and the subsequent service at this location. I bought a STIHL MS311 chainsaw for $700, and it failed during its initial use.
Despite it being a brand-new machine, I was required to pay an additional $70 for service, which included a new spark plug and air filter. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue. My attempts to discuss this with the manager, Jessica, have been consistently met with claims of her unavailability.
The only resolution offered to me was to purchase another new chainsaw, with a 10% military discount. This is an unacceptable solution for a product that was defective from the start. Given this experience, I intend to escalate my complaint to both STIHL's corporate office and the district manager for ACE Hardware...
Read moreSeem like there is only one person working here. She sent me all the way to the back of the store for the item I was looking for and it was not there. I couldn't find the drain cleaner on my own. When I walked back to the front of the store there were like 10 people in line so I just walked out. Thanks for wasting my time. Wont be coming here again. Update, made mistake of coming again, paying $89 for key, waited for it to arrive and then came back only to find out they apparently never should have sold it to me in first place! Only kids and seniors seem to work here, don't seem to like each other Or care abt customers. No apology, even tried giving me hard time abt refund, lol.
