This is the first time I've placed an order with this company. And is definitely the last. When I initially ordered what I wanted, I was informed that I would be receiving a confirmation email for the order. The only confirmation I got was from PayPal stating that I made payment. Nothing from Edwards Freeman. So the next day I sent a simple message asking if they had received my order. No response. Next day I received a message from UPS that my order was being shipped.Great! Nothing from Edwards Freeman. Next day I receive my package(yay) and wonderful, three bags are partially melted and 1bag completely melted. If this is how you take care of first time customers, I'm surprised you have a business at all. I am thoroughly disappointed and disgusted. No “yes, we received your order. Thank you." Reasonable prices and huge inventory. My grandmother, a connoisseur in everything home made, has been a patron for years. Whether you’re buying ingredients to make your own creations (I.e. nuts, chocolates, even spices), or looking to buy already made novelties, this is the place to frequent. They have their own parking lot, and a handicap accessible ramp. The website is very interesting and explains the history and evolution of the company which originally dates back to 1899. They describe the business as, “An old-fashioned nut “museum” and candy “landmark”…[and] a pillar of the community”, contributing to community and civic affairs. They got only four stars from us because we asked the sales associate today if they had a particular item and he said, “Uh no, I don’t think we do”. This is your stop for ANY food gift, any hot sauce, spice, cake decoration, any nut, dried fruit, and collectible. Seasonal products just make this historic jewel even more special.
