I went in last December and put in a custom order for a shark cookie cutter for my grandsons third birthday party in April. I was told someone would call me when it was ready. I offered to pay up front but was told no, I could pay when it was ready. Two months go by, it slipped my mind until my daughter-in-law started to get things ready for the party. I called and was told they could not find any custom shark cookie there and maybe it hasn't been made yet but they will have someone call me back. No call back received. Called the following week and again was told they didn't know anything about it and they would have the lady who makes them call me back. No call back again. I go into the store the following weekend. Unfortunately, I do not see the lady that I paced my order with, nor did I get her name. The woman at the counter did her best to help me. She did managed to find the order book with my original order in it, but could not find it in the store. She verified my name and number and said someone would call me back. I told her if it hasn't been made yet, I still had some time if they could please just make it for me and actually call me back. She apologized and said she would. Two weeks later after no call back, I bought one on Amazon and made cute cookies. I had wanted to buy them well before his party because I wanted enough time to play with and perfect my royal icing technique . I do love the store and have been shopping here for almost ten years. I really do wish they had not dropped the ball so badly on the customer service aspect. I have been a loyal customer who has referred many friends and family. I get that they may not know that, but you should treat every customer as if you know they have! Unless I can find a better store, I'll probably have to go back find the things I need.
