I'm a big supporter of small local businesses, specially having being a small business owner myself. Therefore, I encouraged my friend to stop here with me the other day for some yogurt. However we had a very unpleasant experience not only the day of but also afterwards as the owner is highly defensive and unprofessional. The day we went for the yogurt there was a couple of people in line so as my friend patiently waited in line because the employee was chatting with customers. I was off to the side on my phone. When I noticed it was her turn next I walked over to the counter with her. However, the employee did not acknowledge us and started cleaning the back counter, completely fine, except for the fact that we saw her greet everyone else but us. The only time she acknowledged us was when she walked around the counter to clean the front as well because she said it was "so dirty!" After she was done cleaning she served my friend's yogurt and my friend paid. When we walked outside my friend told me she couldn't eat the yogurt because she did not see the employee change her gloves after cleaning the dirty counters. She was just going to walk away without saying anything but I didn't think that was fair and felt bad I had suggested the place to her. I walked back in with the full yogurt untouched and informed the employee my friend wanted a refund because she did not feel comfortable with how the food was handled. The employee told me she would not refund because she had switched her gloves according to her. I felt horrible that the employee did not offer anything to make my friend feel comfortable with their food and we ended up throwing the yogurt away. The money is not a great loss as it was a measly yogurt, the worst part was seeing how this establishment treats new customers and how little they care to make things right for customers. Then seeing the owner respond getting defensive because my friend left a review and gaslighting her about what she saw instead of apologizing for a bad experience is such bad business. I don't recommend this place for new customers or people who don't have a history in town as I guess only regulars receive respectful customer service here. Once again as someone who has ran a small business, customer service and how you make people feel is everything! When my business fell short of expectation even if I felt differently, I did not attack the customer for their experience or criticism. Read moreThis is the cleanest froyo shop I’ve ever seen. The flavors are unique here and the owners take such pride in what they’re serving. The tart black cherry is a must, it’s so yummy! They have flavor swirls like chocolate and peanut butter to make a Reese’s flavor (it’s delicious!) You can make just about any combo you want.
