Coming from a more metropolitan area, I missed good sushi and it is near impossible to find good sushi in Orange County. Dakara Sushi doesn't fail to deliver. My layman taste buds tell me it's an 'authentic' sushi restaurant run by Japanese, based on my past trips to Japan. It is the closest thing to real, quality Japanese sushi I have come across in the OC area and I can't recommend this place enough. Their humble and unassuming presence convinces me they focus on the food and not display, which is exactly what I want. Dakara sources some of the best fish from specific vendors and locations. If Jason (sushi chef) doesn't have it, it either wasn't fresh or wasn't available through one of his trusted vendors.
