I used to come here years ago to get my hair cut, and styled by the same girl, until She went to work at a different salon, in which I followed her. Due to my change in income, I tried coming back, bringing my daughter who has long hair. She wanted a trim, and requested to have just 1 inch cut straight across. My daughter walked out with more than an inch cut, and layers. SHE WAS UPSET! 2nd visit. I wanted a trim so I made an appointment with a girl who had been there when I used go. Her name was Angie. I got to my appointment on time. The customer service was horrible. I was skipped by a "walk in". I walked up to the counter, and let them know that I had an appointment. The girl at the counter was rude, and said that I didn't check in. So I eventually was able to get my hair cut by Angie, and she did a great job. 3rd visit. I made an appointment a month later, and they informed me that Angie was no longer there, so I made an appointment with Dora, who I knew had been there a long time. THE SAME THING HAPPENED! THIS TIME I CHECKED IN, AND THEY STILL SKIPPED ME FOR A "WALK IN"! I DID GET MY HAIR CUT BY DORA, AND SHE DID GREAT, BUT THE GIRLS AT THE COUNTER ARE RUDE, AND TACKY! IM FINDING SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GET...

Took my son to get a simple trim and even showed a picture of what he wanted. The lady didn’t seem to pay too close attention, and I told her to please look, he didn’t want it too short. My son ended up with short layers down, and when he got off the chair he was crying. The lady did not seem to care, and now he’s wearing a hat and sad because he really did not want his hair cut so short. I’m really really upset, and it’s clear this place has unprofessional women working. Why is it when a client asks for a certain length, do these “stylists” choose their own length and style instead? I read other reviews of other kids crying for the same reasoning. Anyways, don’t recommend. This is the 2nd time they have messed up, this place in Whittier and their Pico location. As a mother, it breaks my heart to see my son like this. I didn’t ask for a refund, but honestly they didn’t...

I've been going to this place for years. I typically have Emily cut my hair. She is no longer there, but before that I had another stylist cut my hair and she was on her phone not paying attention and cutting my hair super short. If you read the bad reviews, It seems to be a consistent problem. Today it happened again. I told the distracted stylist how I want to cut. She said she understood, but she just proceeded with how she wanted to cut my hair. At one point I had to stop her from cutting so much off. Now it looks like a military cut. I work in a business setting and they really need to listen and understand the cut/style the client is requesting. This comes from the top down. It won't be fixed. So you just don't go back. Sad because I always try to go to local places...
