Very upset and disappointed, February 10th I went in to get my car remote start and windows tinted. Remote start worked perfect but the window tint looked a little off but they said it takes 30 days to cure. I've waited about 27 days and noticed that the tint around the back windows had many bubbles and the outlining was coming off to where you can lift it up. So I called them and informed them of the information and they told me to go on in so they can check it out. So I went in they told me that yes the tint was a bad job and they'll refix it for me but I have to make an appointment which they were booked until the next month so I waited for a whole month to get in with them to fix it. The time came, I dropped off my car at 10:00am they told me it'll be 3-4 hours so it should've been done at 2:00pm but they called me a little after 5:00pm to tell me my car is ready. So I went to pickup my car, they redid my two back windows and the big rear window which of course looked bad at that time since it was fresh, then I left. I waited a few days and noticed the big rear window looked really weird so I stopped at a gas station to look at it and noticed that 75% of the heating grids were torn off! But... I gave it a few more weeks just to see if maybe the tint needs to seal itself to the window more but it didn't so at that time....my remote start broke while I was pressing on the button and the plastic part chipped off so I called 316 customs to get a replacement. When I went in to get the replacement I also told them about my heating grids so they went to check it out. They said oh! Did we not inform you that if we take off the old tint to put a new one on, the heating grids will come off too? I'm like no! If I would've known that I wouldn't have changed the tint! 😡 and all they did was say sorry and there's nothing they can do about it. Nice people working there but really, I've been there 3 times within 3 months, spent $500 for a broken car remote start and bad looking window tint! Also this was my new car and I've always wanted to get it tinted which I finally did and they jacked it up and there's nothing they can do about it... I gave them 1 STAR only because the guy CHRIS was nice but not nice enough to do something about their mistake so shame on them.

Im updating this review because alot has happened since then and now. So 4 months ago as you can see the long story on top, I had a very horrible experience at 316 Customs and have written a review to explain what had happen. I'll make this as short and sweet as I can. Long story short... Right after I've written the review about 5 minutes after, one of the managers from 316 Customs called me and left me a voice mail apologizing for the way things were left and they had a meeting that morning about my situation and that it should have never been like that and he wanted me to call him back (Jacob or Josh forgot his name) and to inform him of everything that happened so he can address it properly. I called and told him the story which he listened and apologized again and stated that if they were the ones who put on the tint in the first place and then re-did the tint and ripped off the grid lines, they are at fault and should have fixed everything for free. The manager did just that, he had set me up with a window repair shop a trusty friend of his a week later and had paid for the new window. I was to call him right after my new window was put on so I can schedule my new window tint which I had to wait 2-3 weeks for. The day came and I met the manager who was handling my case sweet guy he was and he made sure it was put on properly. I dropped it off early morning and got it back a few hours later. I checked my window made sure nothing was wrong but only saw a few bubbles which is normal. Read more316 has a pretty great review history and boasts working on Luxury cars - which is why we went with them - this was a trial run on our Subaru and if we loved the work we were going to have some work done on our 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider - Sadly I will have to find somewhere else to work on my Alfa and my Subaru going forward.
We were quoted a price and amount of time to have a stereo installed into our 2016 Subaru Outback - the install time was an hour and half - the cost seemed fair enough to market value.
They ordered a part and while driving to my appointment the next week - I was called by an employee who said the part did not arrive on the 11 am truck and I was re-scheduled for the next day.
I ended up waiting at 316 Customs from 1:42 pm until 7:45 pm - That is 6 hours and 3 minutes! And I drove away with my rear camera not working and the OEM (original equipment manufacture) Stereo back in my car.
Long Story Short - They could not get any audio output from the new stereo and said they would do more research for their harness and to why it did not work.
They backed my car into the parking space at 7pm and I checked everything before I left - and the rear camera did not work. Due to the rear camera not working I went back inside. (Seriously they had to have known it was not working and were about to let me drive away) They pulled my car back in and after another 45 minutes could not get it to work - One of the Owners Jordan set up an appointment at Subaru of Wichita to diagnosis why it was not working.
Subaru of Wichita fixed my rear camera - in the end it was a damaged connector. Jordan was extremely rude to myself and the Subaru Employee. The other Owner Brian was nice and while he was not directly involved - he did get me a rental for a day while my car was being repaired.
*I was also issued a gift card for my experience and being oh so patient on the installation day.
In the end all trust is lost, I would never use this company in the future - even with their 20 years of experience. Why? Because of everything above and the fact that I have an awesome Aftermarket Stereo I installed myself in an hour and twenty-four minutes that works perfectly - I have sound from every speaker, a working rear camera, and all steering wheel...

They know what products works best in which vehicles and they know the latest trends in the industry. Their prices were such that they made a living and kept the lights on but didn't break the bank of their customers. Now I know what you're thinking.. how does that help you here in Wichita KS?!?! Well I'm gonna tell you... When I moved here I did so, WELL after my prime. My car audio needs, whereas not beginner, were no where close to where I had been. Now I admit I knew little of where to go here in Wichita. Needless to say I missed home. So I went to 3 different shops(left unnamed) and bought something from all 3. I was 100% dissatisfied every time. When I told the guys I wasn't happy they said well that's what you paid for. I was furious!! This is the best this city has to offer?!?!
Folks that's when I walked into 316 Customs. Jordan helped me and knew exactly what I needed. Me, not being new, thought I knew what I needed too. So like a BOSS I argued with Jordan and told him what to put in my truck. And Jordan did exactly what I asked. Two days later I came back... I had to apologize and let Jordan know he was correct. And I had to pay for the correct things to go into my truck. Which I should've had in the first place... I am tickled red white and blue! Amazing sounds...
Now to sum up... Best shop in Wichita for car audio is this shop. Talk to Jordan, or associates, tell them exactly what you want it to sound like, do NOT argue with what they want to do and it will be amazing! Their pricing is also the best in Wichita. They take their time to make sure your vehicle is done completely correct. So don't go in thinking it's fast food and this is going to be done in a matter of a few minutes. Some times perfection takes time. Be patient and enjoy...
