My husband and I went on Thursday at 6:30pm. It was not busy when we arrived, but more people came in as we dined in. The ambiance was nice, it was clean and a nice space. The girl at the register was very friendly and gave recommendations when we said it was our first time. Their menu was quite large! Ramen, boba, roughly 20 appetizers from fries to takoyaki. I ordered a Tonkotsu broth ramen with pork belly and karaage. My husband got the G1 with steak at medium heat (a kind of dry noodle hibachi dish) and the pork belly bun. The ramen was very good! The pork belly slices were large, the egg was perfectly soft, and it had a lot of veggies! My husband liked the G1 but he has a high heat tolerance and said the Medium was pretty mild for him. He next time he would try hot. The karaage was a fairly big side dish, but the chicken and dip could use more spices. The pork belly bun was underwhelming for the cost. The pork belly was thinly sliced and the other filling from what I could tell was just iceberg lettuce and sauce on the bun. Overall it was a good experience! I would recommend people try it! I am curious about their Poke and would...
Read moreHad high hopes trying a new place near us, unfortunately the food was lackluster. We ordered the takoyaki, shrimp tempura, garden salad, and steak and shrimp hibachi dinner. The high point for me was the salad ingredients, which were fresh and tasty, however the salad dressing was lacking flavor.
The shrimp tempura was overcooked and just 'ok' similar story with the takoyaki which again, was just lacking flavor and had very small pieces of octopus in each.
The hibachi dinner was also disappointing, the ingredients were fine, but the sauce was pretty bad. The fried rice was just totally lacking flavor. It tasted like mall food with less flavor, unfortunately not meeting our expectations.
All in all, this place isn't horrible, the food was fine, the service for carryout was decent, and it wasn't more expensive than comparable restaurants. However, there are much better options nearby for a similar price, with similar service, and much, much better food. Next time I'm looking for takeout of this type, I'll unfortunately be visiting one of the other...
Read moreHusband and I went to try this for the first time and we were incredibly disappointed. Fried oysters were soggy and flavorless as well as the ramen broths. I added nearly 1/4 of soy sauce into my bowl and it still didn't have enough salt. I got the vegetarian ramen and the main flavor I got was seaweed even after taking it out. I'm able to make 100% better broth at home so I will not be coming back unless there is a recipe change at this store. Sorry A&J, I hope your...
