Taking a moment to show some appreciation for the amazing Axel at EFA!

As a guy with longer hair, I've struggled to find a place where I can get a masculine long hair cut in the Wichita area or learn how to improve the health of my hair. After chatting with Axel during an earlier wash, dye, and style, we discussed steps to take to get my hair healthy and natural looking, while styled easily for me to keep up while at home.

Since then I've gotten an amazing shag cut for myself, learned how to improve the moisture in my extremely thick hair, and it's brought out curls! I have big ole curls and waves in my hair which I absolutely LOVE!

As a guy, we're commonly told to just cut our hair short instead of taught how to take care of our hair. Growing my hair out, this left me a bit in the dark and commonly just wearing hats instead of doing anything with my hair. With Axel, I'm not just getting a cut and style here and there, I'm learning every time I sit in that chair in a way that is comfortable and fun. I can ask all the questions I need and I never feel like I'm bugging Axel (something I've felt at other places).

Every time I come in I feel Axel and I are working towards and making progress to get my hair health and style where I want it to me. That's a first for me.

Now I love to take the few simple steps to get my hair looking amazing before I head out. No more hats for me!

Today’s appointment started off rough waiting 20 minutes for my appointment and then waiting another 30 for her to get product. After being there 40 minutes I had to leave due to her still not starting my facial wich could be another hour at least and I had another appointment that I would have been late too. Extremely sweet girl just might not be here line of work, when it comes to customer service and understanding of people’s time. However Eric Fisher instructor got me another appointment with a Fabulous student Bri- she asked all the right questions- she seriously cared. You could tell she wanted to be there, and loves skin care, she will go far in the field. She took time to give me a regiment and explained the difference in products. Which I bought because of her. I will continue to come back because of students like Bri and instructors that want to make it right for the customers. This is field could be very difficult and Both of them stepped...
