Our group had a good meal. The bbq meat was decent. Over a 2 hr span we ordered, waited/chatted and later dined. Then we waited on to-go boxes. Then waited on the tickets. Then waited on the 20 seperate checks sorted-to-pay cycle. The service went well despite one server doing EVERYTHING for everyone. 2 hrs isnt a bad span for such a feat. The ribs and brisket werent bad. They just werent that great either. Way too smoky as well. Some bbq chefs think there's no such thing as too much smoke. To each their own. And oddly, they didnt have a bbq sauce with no [spicey] heat. My mouth can take it but my digestion is telling me to not go back. Hours later that has been ascerctained. Too much spice [and no truly MILD options] and way too much smoke. The group enjoyed our outing. But for me, It was a "barely there" experience on a number of accounts. And that despite the fact that we liked our server and got along with her stretched-thin abilities.. Shewas clearly some level of "whelmed". In a group of 20, i suspect more than half would go back. So you might enjoy it too. Just not me. If you are considering this place, i do recommend that you call up and ask about coupons, sales, and upcoming specials. Their promos are frequent, and perhaps worth your while if you arent put off by too much smokiness or spicy bbq sauce. The place is clean. Its somewhat handicap friendly, it has handy parking but i only saw one handicap space. [Needs more?] and it has the sports bar vibe that a lot...
Read moreI received the big brother combo with extra onion rings and a sweet tea.... I was greeted promptly at the pull up box. My hostess was very friendly and polite, she even made small talk with me about her septum piercing. However, the food was sup par. The sandwich came with the basics... lettuce, red onion, pickle, tomato and mustard. I added bacon and cheese. It looked like someone just slung it into the box without care. The patties both undercooked (a bit raw) in the center. Bacon.... very soggy and limp. Pickles very crisp and cold. The bun was also very soggy. Mushy tomato and the lettuce..... well, soggy, limp, brown and just from looking at it I'm willing to bet it was at least 4 days old. The fries definitely seen better day, old, soggy, limp, no crisp, and tasted like grease. Now the onion rings although crisp (probably from being well over cooked) tasted like old grease to. The ranch dipping sauce was very runny almost like water, tasted ok but was warm... not even slightly cool. The tea although sweet to my liking was also warm. At a cost of $30, that's including tip, I give this location a 2 star or D- for a food rating. My host, she gets an A for her friendly approach, great small talk, and her confidence in her septum piercing. Not sure if I'll return to this location for the food but just might for her attitude. ...
Read moreI pulled up yesterday for a take out order and usually just expect someone to ask me my name, hand me my food, and then wam bam thank you mam. My car hop came out yesterday from the moment she opened the door she had a smile on her face and i could see her light. Being myself, i naturally gave a compliment just cause its a vibe you don't typically see when someone is at work. I complimented her smile and shine and said you sure our happy to be here and she just explained to me about her life challenges she has faced and is thankful for a fresh start. If my company was at the point of expansion i would of definitely offered a interview. She is a great asset to your team, we have ate in at this restaurant before and not that the service was bad, it just wasn't the natural good vibes that came along with my food being handed to me. I just wanted to say: KEEP IT UP GIRL, CONTINUE DOING AND BEING THE WOMEN THAT GREETED ME AND DOORS WILL OPEN FOR YOU! JUST AS THIS JOB DID. EVERYTIME YOU OPEN THE DOOR TO BRING FOOD CAR SIDE, JUST KEEP IN MIND YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT DOOR GOD IS OPENING AT THE SAME TAME! Be proud Two Brothers BBQ. You got a great one! Glad you hired her.(: this card said her...
