Invio Fine Furniture Consignment — Local services in Wichita

I'm disgusted with how they do business. I wanted to sell my grandparents solid oak chair with them and they take 50% of what it sells for (more then most consignment shops) and had me sign a one page contract (without explaining anything) and when I asked for a copy, the lady said "oh you can take a picture of it". I let that go but fast forward 6 MONTHS and no word. So I called them asking if it sold and this is what they told me "oh we don't contact you when it sells but you can call anytime to check and see...it looks like your furniture sold in DECEMBER (~5 months ago) and we still have a check for you, at the six months mark it moves to STORE CREDIT ONLY but you made it under the wire, it's in the fine print that no one reads haha" So needless to say I will never do business with them buying or selling again and I hope you all will do the same, I never write reviews but I felt like I...

I have always loved shopping at Invio and usually found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Today was not that way at all. I was so disappointed. One employee did assist us for a bit while two employees sat at the counter and talked. We purchased a large piece of furniture and were assisted with one part of the piece but then we were left alone to manage the rest of the move by ourselves. No one helped us with the door or even made sure we had everything. No one thanked us. No one said good bye or even locked the door behind us.
